If you visit Pontianak city very unfortunate if you not visit to Along culinary Typical of pontianak.. there have best culinary special Hekeng & dodol... must try it.. 😉

Very reccomended Oleh-Oleh store at jalan Gajah Mada Pontianak. They sell good quality dried salted fish, prawns, squids. We buy Juhi pengkong, Kripik Pisang Segedong, Krupuk Ikan Hui Tjoan, Amplang Obic. Sadly when we came here, they not produce their Lempok Durian. The owner was very friendly and their food qualities was really good.

A good place to find snacks/ food souvenir from Pontianak. They have a wide range of foods we can buy. I think what most people are looking for would be the "Stik Talas" (taro stick). Moreover, the shop provides additional service to pack the foods we bought for free (in cardboard boxes). It really helps when you are buying a lot and are heading back to airport soon (and have no more space in your luggage!). Too bad I didn't get the chance to take some pictures here. Will definitely visit again when I come to Pontianak next time.
