Thamrin Plaza is one of the oldest malls in Medan, it is already 34 years old. has a fairly large parking area. The size of this mall is small when compared to malls now, but it was very grand in its time.

The shops often hold discounts such as "matahari", sports stations, kids station and others, here there is also a shop that sells batik clothes. and for food, they also have many choices from the ground floor to the top, apart from that there is a food court on the top floor which is perfect for spending time or resting after shopping.

One of the oldest mall at Medan. This place is start to crowded around 2pm until night, has alot of eating place, movies, good air exchange, more well groomed, the securities and the employee are friendly. Yes, a good place to visit.

However remember to pay your parking card when leaving the buildings. Actually i hope they can change this parking system to online payment, merchant or other payment.
coz when you forget to pay the parking card, you need to go back to the machine...

Its a nice old mall thats still active n crowded, actually its probably worth 3-4 star but ill give it 5 because its an old mall and they just build right next to a popular market.

Old shopping that is still exist until now. The location which is next to local traditional market seems become the strong point of the existence of this shopping mall until now. Choices of places for dining and shopping are quite vary. So far still become my favorite place to shop for several ocassion.

Still one of the best malls in Medan. Yes, it looks a bit dated, but real attempts are being made at refurbishments. The food court has improved somewhat, and the cinema is alwaya good value.

Nice place to having fun with family. There are lots of stores from 1st floor to 6th floor. The top floor is food court. The food is good with affordable price.

Old shopping mall is more than 30 years already since the begin of grand opening. Located at the center of Medan. There's train station at right side of mall so you can go to the others place around and the left side mall is a traditional market one of the crowdest market at Medan. So the shopping mall influence by the traditional market makes the mall visited by so much people from all over the world even from domestic and international tourist. This mall is also recommended by north Sumatera tourism because this mall is not far from many tourists destination. After got shopping at mall you can looking for traditional or family food. At this place visitors can choose between modern shopping or traditional shopping all up to your choice.
