This is a Culinary Legend in Salatiga which has been awarded by the Government of Salatiga City.

Overall the bread was good. But for the pastry, oh my... it was AMAZING. The texture, crunchiness, the taste was all hitting the perfect spots. They also use good quality cheese, so I definitely recommend you to try their cheese breads. My personal favourite is their cheese stick pastry.

To be fair, the price point was actually quite high. But then again, you'll get an amazing piece of bread / pastry out of that. Definitely something worth trying.

Parking spots were limited and since it's located in the busy area, you need to walk a bit from your parking spot.

The food itself is very delicious and have good quality. if you know, you know. The staff was very humble. The price range is kinda high even for Jakarta.

This old-school bakery sells traditional style bread, which is hardly found these days. Try the excellent smoked ham bread and any others. Also serving great pastries (eg. minced beef pie).

Love this bread too. Difficult to park, if you are lucky, you can park in front of the bakery. But if not, you need to walk a bit maybe. I was lucky I can park my car not too far from the bakery. The most famous bakery, must visited bakery in Salatiga! A Culinary Legend! Always crowded of people. I went here in the afternoon, lucky to still be able to buy roti sus, my favorite.

The price truly reflects the quality here. Expensive is not the correct word to describe it. How can they charge Jakarta prices in a town that have half of the cost of living compared to Jakarta. But the customers don't care.p

Although the service is somewhat uptight and a bit indifferent, still the patrons and tourists brave the challenging situation to have some of the best old style bread and pastries in their life.

Small bakery but very full of customers. People said this is the best bakery in Salatiga.

It's one of my favourite bakeries and I love the Oliballen (pardon me if it's spelt wrongly), kinda like black puff without any cream filling eaten with icing sugar. It's only available on Sunday.

Nggak pernah ada yang nggak enak. Their selections are all must try. A bit steep on price, but worth for a good memory and best quality of pastry/bread.

Traditional bread store with unique traditional taste. The price is a little bit expensive for local store but it's suitable with the taste. So many buyers from outside Salatiga especially during public holiday.

The place where you can find classic bread, pastries and snacks in Salatiga. Next to it you can find a waroeng with super delicious meal. They’re specialized in beef meat. My favorit is empal sapi (savoury shredded beef), paired with their sambal terasi, SUPER RECOMMENDED! :)

The must visit place when you go to salatiga. Its a bit pricey for salatiga's standard where everything seems to be so cheap. But the kue soes, the cone soes and the soes gulung was the must have item here. Come early if you looking for those items. The just bake twice a day and limited. Especially for the soes gulung which only available on sunday.

Old time favourite bakery, more than 70 years establishment. Best are its nastar, kastengels, sausage brood, ham and cheese. Almost all are good.

Old fashioned bakery with all number one quality ingredients. Must try. Roti dagingnya enak.

Famous cake shop in Salatiga very crowded everyday but worth the queue. Price are standard. Parking for car is a bit hard because its on the side of main street.
