Back here after few years... And they already change a lot. More comfort wide place to shop with more variances bakery product. With their signature cake is bolu gulung, still keep the taste and quality.
The price is higher since about 2-3 years ago I guess... But it sill worth and meet the product's quality.
Altough there are lots of new bakery in Medan but I think bolu Meranti will be known as one of must buy giftto bring from Medan.

New building, nice interior, very spacious, and clean. They managed each section quite well. Ordering, paying, and packaging section are separated. The flow from order until packaging is quite fast because the waiters are plenty. The parking area also large and surrounding by various mini store (oleh-oleh Medan specialty).

Never miss this bolu when you visit this town! The queue is a bit long, as it is divided into 3: a desk for ordering the food, a desk for payment, and another desk for picking up the order. Regardless, its worth to wait! I love the cheese bolu and durian pancake the most.

A shop of 'oleh-oleh' in Medan. They sell a variety of cakes. Some of them with durian inside, such as pia durian and durian pancake. Offers you a lot of cake or pastry that been package. The prive not cheap but also not expensive. headquarter store opened at 07.00 Wib and located in Jl. Sekip near side of Jl. Meranti so that easy to find at normal traffic on Medan city. The most annoying when come here at 18.00 Wib there is no Bolu Meranti cheese anymore already sold-out or when cashier told you to paid cash only..

This has slowly replaced the traditional bika ambon as the main souvenir from Medan. Cheese is defenitely the best favour. Buleberry is not bad, too.
