Green Grace Wayanad

We are two travelers from USA and we connected with this homestay through an ethical tourism company called Kabani. They are amazing because they train local community members to become homestay hosts, and we felt great knowing our money stays in the community supporting their livelihoods instead of going to an outside corporation. George and Mercy are incredible hosts. We loved seeing their lifestyle which is intimately connected to nature. They grow food and cook it daily for themselves and guests. Their home has all the modern comforts one could want. During the day I went with a local guide to explore the village, and met so many wonderful people and learned a lot.

My partner and I stayed at Green grace for 2 fantastic nights. The family were so attentive, warm and friendly. The food's amazing and they provided generous portions. We had a wonderful tour of the surrounding area including their vegetable garden, Mum Mercy was happy to show us how to cook Keralan food. Much of the food served came from their land which I loved. The room was excellent, facilities were extremely clean. We had use of a balcony area, sitting area as well as the bedroom and bathroom. We felt it was extremely good value for money. The property is in a small village which is lovely to walk around, it was so nice and quiet there. I would highly recommend this homestay for the warmth of the family, the amazing environment (inside and outside) and delicious food. 10 out of 10!

This is homely place. You will get home made food(both veg and non-veg). Must stay place. Right in mid off forest area. Calm and cool place. I felt like I stayed at my own home. Less than 200 rupees, you will get variety of food. You never get such a tasty and variety food in wayanad.

Very Very Very good hospitality, uncle George & aunty are so humble & attentive. Homestay is very clean & awesome sorounded by the greenery across. Delicious & homely food. It's near to places like banasura dam, E3 Theme Parks & waterfalls. At least once in your lifetime need to stay here you will love the place & the people.

Even the word awsome will not be sufficient for the hospitality we have received from uncle & aunty..its just fab experience.Cant stop myself to write a review while still staying there.
Though its little far from city,but really really worth it is.
Its not always about business,its politeness and humbleness you get from business counterpart.

We stayed there for 3 nights with my family.. clean and neat rooms and homestay location amidst nature is amazing.. uncle George and family were very kind and helpful.. food was very good and we enjoyed Kerala dishes and fish fry.. Overall amazing experience and we enjoyed a lot.

Green grace is a heaven in wayanad.we enjoyed lot.I like their hospitality,food,stay.lovely people.they r service minded people.Elisi chetci is a great chef both in Kerala and Chinese cuisine.i would surely recommend all people who wants great n calm place with delicious home food with lovely n caring people in moderate expense.

Its one of the best village home stays in wayanad, you can see the beauty of a real village and also easily access to tourist destinations from here.
