A wonderful stay , well managed and organized by Georgia and Leonard.

Delicious home cooked food with a good variety of dishes. The place is full of greenery and has lovely flowering plants all around. It's very neat and clean. The hosts have 13 dogs, all are very friendly with the visitors. All dog lovers would definitely enjoy this place. There have a lot of activities like a joy fishing, bonfire, trekking/nature walk, swim, indoor and outdoor games which helps you to have a great experience and a memorable stay. The staff around were very nice and decent. All credit gone to the wonderful hosts for beautifully managing this property. We had a good time.

Spent the long weekend at Georgia Sunshine Village and honestly, I couldn't be happier!

Everything from the rooms to the hospitality to the recreational options to the food is EXCELLENT. And I must say that the cleanliness is just commendable, especially given how massive, open and in-the-nature the place is!

The food is simply INCREDIBLE! The variety is more than one could expect or ask for (a buffet with starters, main course, and dessert for lunch/dinner and an equally satisfactory spread for breakfast too!) and it is all prepared by the owner herself, with so much love and passion, and to ensure highest standards of quality and taste.

The owners are really hands on and they were continuously trying to ensure that their guests all have a more than comfortable time.

In addition to the activities offered, there's also a nice lounge / game room, hammocks to chill under the trees, and a swimming pool too.

We went with our dog and had one of the most truly pet-friendly experiences we've had so far. Like us, she too had a host of options to indulge in - from decompression walks in nature to a dip in the pond to playing with the resident dogs to a swim in the lake close by - she got to enjoy herself a lot too and that was definitely the icing on the cake for us.

Its one of those gems that we would definitely revisit and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

PS: if you're a dog lover, this place is like heaven! They have 13 dogs of their own which means you're in for continuous entertainment and cuddles. I bet you'd have a tough time leaving them behind, like we did. Roxy and Elsa especially stole our hearts!

Amazing place to get away from the city and the drama and relax in a calm, pleasant and close to nature filled place..
PS: they have lovely and friendly dogs and this is a pet friendly resort.

You teach after 2-3 kms of unmetalled terrain. It's a downside for your car, but an upside for serenity as the road won't be used often.

They have about 13 dogs and about 15(not sure exactly) nicely spread cottage rooms. Open cottage library, lounge and dining. Home food and every nook and corner sparkly clean. The garden is fantastically laid out and the attention to reuse and sustainability is evident. Cozy Cabins amidst nicely laid out insect free gardens is a major relaxant.

However the high cost might restrict you from spending more days there which is what you would need to benefit psychologically from such serene places.

For those folks with deep pockets and a non speciest view point, it's all good.

Great place to spend the weekend. They have 13 dogs, swans, chicken, turkey and all roaming freely. Roxy was very loving. Mo internet connection is an additional facility. We really liked the place. The price is also reasonable. Overall excellent experience.

This is a wonderful place run by a warm and kind couple - Leonard and Georgia.
They have about 13 dogs of various breeds and every single one of them is adorable to say the least. The owner has taken some of the abused fur babies under her wing and now they're thriving.
I booked a superior deluxe room and I am just one word - WOW! Squeaky clean and room's super spacious too. Well maintained.

When I informed the host that I'm booking for my husband's birthday, she was kind enough to arrange for a complimentary chocolate cake (read yummy) to bring in his birthday.
The food was Ah-mazing! And we were surprised to find that the wonderful host is the chef too!

The staff kept to themselves and were very polite and friendly in their approach.

Both my husband and I are pet lovers and absolutely enjoyed our stay here.
Quiet, peaceful, fresh air, and a perfect little place for digital detox. Thank you so much for making our day memorable.

Georgia Sunshine Village is truly a homestay with a difference...About 3 hrs from Bengaluru, this quaint place is a perfect getaway for those who just want to to get away from the  hustle and bustle of the city and just unwind.
We received a warm welcome by Glen, the staff and the most adorable dogs ever! As you enter the reception, you feel like you're entering a home -beautiful decor displaying souvenirs from across the world and if you're a pet lover, this feels like heaven!
We booked 2 super deluxe rooms which were just across each other and the perfect setup for families or groups travelling together. Rooms were spacious and very well maintained. You know the owners have put a lot of thought into ensuring their guests are comfortable with the well done interiors and amenities in the rooms.
Surrounded by greenery, the peace and tranquility you feel here makes it worth a visit. And the best part is, there's something for everyone - family, friends-age no bar!
Good home cooked food, friendly and hospitable staff, a date with nature and dogs you can cuddle forever - just some of the highlights that made our stay memorable!
Special thanks to Glen and his staff - Suresh, Vishal, Dipan, Safvan, Nagamma, and Madov for being such great hosts! And our stay would not have been the same without our new furry friends especially Elsa and Roxie who were with us pretty much the entire time!

A remarkably refreshing and gorgeous getaway.

A short drive from Bangalore, Georgia Sunshine Village is like a beautiful painting coming to life. Those wanting a break from the urban hustle will enjoy this perfect getaway to spend quality time with loved ones amidst nature and adorable animals. Georgia and Leonard are excellent hosts supported by a terrific staff. The team offers a delightful spread of delicious food, which augments the overall sensory experience of visiting this place. You can unwind over a guided hike in the morning, relax while fishing late afternoon and enjoy the warmth of a bonfire in the evening. This is one place that you must add to your holiday checklist.

So I had been watching all the recent negative reviews given for this resort; bad food, less food, rules etc etc.
What we felt that rules should be there to maintain the place for good customers. Foods were more than enough for lunch and dinner. Quality of foods were fresh and proper. Coming to the behaviours of the hosts; they did their more than bests to attend every single customer who checked in. They spoke with me on different topics while they were cooking for guests. They cook by themselves to maintain the quality of food and have home food feelings. They don’t serve liquor and that’s fine since they don’t have license. They allow ones to carry own alcohol and consume it at own responsibilities while they provide the required crockeries for alcohol consumption.
About the place, it’s quiet, well maintained space where we enjoyed our time a lot. They have had their pets including some lovely doubly doggos. Roxy (The pit bull) was so sweet to get pet everytime he saw me by getting down on my feet. Tyson (The Black Lab) was like glue to me all the places 😃
The common area was very well organised and some priceless items were there for decorations (antiques).
They even allowed us to have late lunch (3.30 pm) and late dinner (1.00 am) by giving room service.

We visited the place with our pet dog and overall even her (our pet) experience is fantastic; what else would one want to have!
We will definitely visit them soon. I would suggest new visitors who are reviewing their negative reviews; if you are responsible enough for your activities, this place is very best for you; however if you want to make your rules imposed in a private property then you should choose your own home!

This is an amazing place, with terrific hosts (including several of the furry kind) and a really nicely designed, thought through and green resort / home-stay. We stayed in the deluxe cottages which are really nice (nothing fancy).. with lots of sit-outs outside amidst nature. The pool is nice, common playing areas and library is great too. The food was amazingly tasty - both veg and non veg, though it is not a huge spread. It might be tough if you don't like dogs - for their several dogs roam about freely. But trust me - they are super friendly (well except for one.. Zoey I think she is called.. who wants to boss around a bit 😀 😀 !!). Our third visit here and the place never disappoints. I’ve been to this pet friendly home stay quite a few times in the past. Their room and big and spacious, bathrooms are clean, surroundings beautiful and well kept, staff are very friendly and there us ample space for my dogs to roam around. A special mention to the amazing home cooked food we had as well. Fridges are provided in all the rooms so it’s easy to carry your dogs food and store it. Small water areas for the dogs to dip their feet and swim in. Overall we had a great experience

How do you write a review for a place where you never wanted the trip to end in the first place! That's exactly how we felt when we visited Georgia Sunshine Village Resort. It was a magical two days (Dec 30 and 31st). Leonard and Georgia were warm and all the staff made us feel at home. The rooms are squeaky clean, air-conditioned and a joy to stay in and we loved the indoor games and just being in the midst of seemingly endless nature. Now the food, what do you I say? One word - Wow! Delicious food served with the love it deserves. Also super sweet of Leonard and Georgia to arrange for a complimentary cake to bring in my father-in-law's birthday. This was my second time to their gem of a place and I can't wait to make another plan to visit again. Sending all my love to Leonard, Georgia and all the wonderful staff of Georgia Sunshine Village! ❤

The place was so serene. Lovely walks in nature, birds chirping, fresh air, fruit trees. The hosts were very hospitable, their food had a home made touch -having something that everyone could relish. I love the thought they put into every little thing. The welcome and good bye furry committee and frequent guests was by far the cutest of all- their dogs..Toffee, Chester, Elsa, Moose,Tyson, Mia, Cookie, Destiny... The kids adored them along with all the ducks, turkeys, guinea pigs, goats, chickens, chicks... In my son's words "this is the best day of my life"....

We traveled with our pet. This is one of the few places that we've come across that are fantastic for both pets and humans.

A place where family with kids enjoyed the Nature which we were searching and found this place perfect one! Swiming pool, play areas with indoor outdoor games, fishing, domestic animals, roaming around, watching beautiful birds on multiple trees, lunch, dinner and breakfast, night camp fire, watching stars in the sky...all awsome!! Rooms are big enough with all facilities provided inside, ample parking, respectful servents, overall well maintained and great place to release the stress from our busy life. Thank you Georgia for making our stay so delightful !! 👍

Nestled in the lap of nature Georgia Sunshine is a quick getaway from Bangalore. You will receive the warmest reception and the most affectionate sendoff from the purest little furry souls. If you are a dog lover you have 11 dogs to cuddle with.Elsa the labrador took our heart away.She was so gentle and protective of our 3 year old and accompanied us to every corner of the resort.

Georgia and Leonard have made a beautiful reception/dining area with handpicked artefacts from across the world - a mini museum in itself. They serve the most delicious homemade food (both veg and non veg), the best chicken cutlets we have eaten till date. Being a weekday we were the only family in the resort, yet they prepared quite a spread for just 2 adults. They also accommodated our request for an early dinner for our little one.

There is ample space to relax amidst the greenery. Snuggle in a corner with a book, enjoy fishing, swim in the pool, play indoor/outdoor games, dance around the bonfire. Enough to keep everyone occupied.
We loved our morning walk to the nearby villages which led us to a beautiful waterbody.

Staff members are courteous. The hosts and the staff are not intrusive yet available when needed. Communicate your needs in advance.

This one is certainly one of those places we would visit often.

it's our 4th visit and have been visiting them from 2003, around the time Georgia and Leonard started allowing guests. It's been our go to place whenever we have wanted to be with ourselves. there are more rooms then when we first visited but the hospitality and warmth has not changed a bit. The rooms are well done and kept clean and hygienic with all basic amenities. The food is excellent and the standard of food hasn't changed. Love the food and feel good to see the owners take keen interest and ensure the food is excellent. Lots of dogs (some rescued) for the anima lovers. It's a pet friendly place (they only don't allow pets in common areas). A must visit place if you want to sit back, relax, introspect or simply talk to friend and family. The wireless signal is sporadic (one of the reasons we stil love to go there) but available. I highly recommend this place and if in Bangalore, a must visit.

We just did a 2 nights stay here . Nice and quiet place nestled in nature. Spacious and clean rooms linen and towels. Swimming pool, some games, books etc available. Wonderful hosts . Freshly prepared tasty home style food. Lots of different small animals like dogs, chickens, ducks, turkey, guinea fowl , some goats etc. Good nature walk trails. There is a small stream which flows on the edge of the property where one can try some fun fishing. Need to have a vehicle as property is a bit off the beaten track ,especially if one plans to visit the Shivan Samudra falls , Somnath temple etc. Food and room for driver was available on request. Pets are welcome with some restrictions due to other guests who may not like pets. Overall a wonderful and relaxing experience.

An amazing pet friendly place with neat well appointed rooms and adventurous attached open bathroomns. The place is green and well maintained. THe host couple Len and Georgia are charming ex planters who are culinary charmers. The food spread is wonderful and place just suitable for long chats in the open with friends and family

My stay at Georgia sunshine village was excellent. The place is green, beautiful and relaxed. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food is excellent, non spicy, non oily, just great. Would highly recommend. We had a wonderful stay
