U need to travel in a government forest keep for 12 km ~ 45 mins to reach the falls which will cost per person 500 rupees. The view was amazing. Please take clothes if you want to swim.

A wonderful place for nature lovers and those who love trekking. A very safe, quiet, and beautiful place to be seen. You need to reach the starting point where you will find Jeep ready to take you through the rough terrains across the jungle. Then you will have to trek through a carefully laid out path that will take you straight to the waterfall.

Amazing waterfall.
The jeep ride is amazing…. 🤩
Advice: -Go early in the morning so you don’t wait into queue.

- Take care of sleepy shoes.
I fallen down twice 🥺🤕

After Jeep riding have at-least 1 km walking path. That has mind blowing forest view. While this has 2 waterfall cross bridge has a pretty view to took good pictures.

Hebbe Waterfalls is a nature lover's paradise! The journey through the dense, verdant forest to reach the falls is an adventure in itself, setting the stage for the breathtaking spectacle that awaits. As the cascading waters plunge amidst lush greenery, a sense of tranquility washes over you. The natural pool at the base is an inviting oasis, perfect for a refreshing dip. The sheer beauty and raw power of Hebbe Waterfalls make it a must-visit destination. It's a symphony of nature, where the sound of falling water harmonizes with the serenity of the surrounding landscape. Truly a hidden gem in the heart of Karnataka

Our vehicle's are not allowed inside the forest area. We have take ticket's for Jeep's they charge 3200 rs for the group of 6 to 8 people. And they drop at coffee estate inside the forest from there we have to walk up to 1.5 km to reach the water fall's. In between we have to cross two small bridges. Leeches are also there be carefull don't go alone, go with group of friends or family. Some time's it's crowded but some time's no crowd. One security guard is also there near water fall's.
The water fall was very beautiful and just looks like woow✌. You can stay for some time and leave, same jeep will drop you back at parking area.
Carry your water and snake's nothing is available here to eat and drink.

Visited on 27 Jan 24, Falls is amazing with its double layered view. During monsoon the view would be stunning.
Try to visit early hours as during holidays the waiting time is 1 to 2 hrs to get called for the Karnataka government provided Jeep ride in an uneven terrain. The ride takes around 1/2 an hour, post that you have to walk for 15-20 minutes to reach the site.
The total allotted time is of 1 hour after you are dropped by the Jeep, so essentially you have 1/2 an hour to stay at the site if you deduct the walking time. At the moment the fare is Rs 500 per person, kids are discounted on case to case basis.

One can reach here by jeep, 500/- person. Nice view on the way. Once you reach the point the jeep driver will stay there for 1 hour. From jeep point to hebbe fall is walking distance approx 800-1000 meter one side that needs to be covered and return back within an hour.
Walking through the forest. We went in the month of November.

Visiting Hebbe Falls was one of the great experiences. The jeep safari to reach waterfalls about 45 min is completely off-roading with enchanting views. After that there will be a small trek to reach waterfalls. Everything was wonderful, I personally loved it♥

This place is an amazing escape from reality. You’ll get a quick and very adventurous 20 mins ride in the vehicle from the Karnataka forest department. After that you’ll need to walk for 10 minutes to reach this magical spot. You’ll get 1 hour of time to spend at the falls post which you’ll be dropped back at the first entrance in the same vehicle. Recommended time to visit in a day is around 11
AM. The most interesting thing is that once you finish visiting the falls, farely around 4-4:30 PM, you can trek a nearby mountain called Z-point and watch the sunset. Do visit and get lost in the beauty of NATURE. Video credits are mine.

"Hebbe Waterfall is a hidden gem surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Getting there is an adventure itself – a thrilling 40-minute ride on a 4x4 truck through dense jungle and scenic mountains. The journey adds to the allure of this natural wonder. The waterfall itself is a mesmerizing cascade of beauty, making the entire expedition well worth it. A must-visit for nature enthusiasts seeking both excitement and tranquility."

How to Access?
- Reach Entrance Gate - Private vehicles are not allowed after this point (search for Hebbe Falls Jeep Entry checkpost in maps) which is 62km from Chikmagalur.
- Hebbe Falls is around 10 km from Entrance Gate and can be reached by only Jeep, for which Rs.500 per pax will be charged as on Oct 2023.
- 1km of walking after an adventurous off-road Jeep ride will take you to a majestic waterfall and is worth it.

You might witness a huge crowd for Jeep, we almost waited 2hrs to get into the Jeep during long weekend.
There are close to 30 to 40 Jeeps at the venue, which takes riders for a ride and you will be given 60 to 70 mins to enjoy the waterfalls and you would be taken back to the entrance point on the same Jeep.

Parking space:
- There is no dedicated parking space for vehicles at the entrance gate.
- Park vehicles road side at your own risk, make sure you don't block roads other riders. As the roads are narrow.

Nearby Attractions:
- Kallati Falls.
- Z point trekking.

Hebbe falls is one of the popular place to visit in Chikmagalur, you can enjoy 5-6km jeep safari with 500 per person cost, its completely off-road jungle safari, you can spot few animals if you are lucky enough, wild deer can be easily seen. You have to walk for 15-20 min with gradual ascent, descent, flat terrains to reach Hebbe fall. You can take a bath under fall if interested or just enjoy its drops like shower by seating on rock at some distance away from waterfall. You have to come back by 1 hr to 1.25 hrs at jeep safari parking to go back. It will take minimum 2-3 hours depends on rush.

Hebbe Falls was an exhilarating adventure. The Jeep ride was a thrilling start, and we had a blast splashing in the falls. It was a fun, memorable day, and the pride in our Jeep added to the overall enjoyment. Highly recommended!

Hebbe fall is best among all water falls, I have seen (15+).
I visited on 25-Dec.-2023.

You can go upto a point then we need to take jeep ride to go to Hebbe fall. Jeep rode will take 500 per person (as of 25-dec-2023). It may take some time to get your turn in jeep ride as jeeps are limited in number. Better we go here by 8 AM to 9 AM in weekend.

Jeep will drop near Hebbe fall in 30 min and wait for you to come back. From jeep stand we need to track for 15-20 min to go under water fall.

We can take bath under the fall. But no place for changing cloths. So, it's your choice if you want to take bath or not. Water is clean.

Prefer to wear shoe with good grip. Surface is slippery.

After taking jeep, we will be back in approx 2.5 hr.

Kindly Cary only cash Rs. 500/Pp for the jeep ride which is 15kms off road travel.
If you are lucky you can spot Tigers and deers on the way.
No network will be available there.
Once the jeep drops you in the destination they normally waits for 1.30 min to pick you back.
