Post Office Passport Seva Kendra, Chamarajanagara

I give good rating to this PSK. We could get quick appointment here, staff is good, easy to locate and near to many places like Mysore. But if you are expecting passport delivery within a week or so, NEVER choose this PSK. It is not a mistake from PSK but the architecture is like that. It would take 30 to 45 days for the passport delivery. The staff explained this before applying here that there is no dedicated RPO here and all the applications would go to Bangalore RPO for review and then they dispatch the passports. Where in the city like Mysore, RPO is available in the PSK itself which makes the process faster.
So, if you are in no hurry for the passport and looking for a small trip, choose this PSK. Else, consider Mysore even if you get a late appointment date.

Located on national highway and easy to find out even the applicants comes from outside.

Traveling all the way from Mysore to Chamarajanager... was a a wise decision. The service at PSk was very quick, the Postal Assistants, Sri Mahadev Swamy and Sri Hemant were very professional and polite. The service was swift. The passport renewal process took place in 15 minutes, and waiting time was just 20 minutes. The officials were polite enough and the process was way smoother than in Bangalore. For Mysoreans this would be the best place to get passport work done. Expecting the passport in a month.

PSK Office is in the same campus of Post Office.It's Little hidden from the main road.

No much crowd. Parking is also available in the Post Office campus, so no issue.

Simple and easy process. No much waiting time.(When compared to other metro city PSK office )

In Waiting area around 8-10 people can be accommodated.

Really good and easy procedure , officers are humble and polite

Well maintained centre. You must have all the necessary documents if you are planning to submit your passport application. I haven't made a successful submission but this centre is less crowded than Bangalore centres. But remember its 160km away from Bangalore. So take every documents you think will be necessary.

Passport Office location is hidden ( little inside at post office campus)... Staff's are good... Waiting area is pretty good as on date...
