Rann Utsav - The Tent City

Booked Non AC tent during Diwali. Tent was decent and clean. Non AC is more than enough during winter. Overall service was good but felt the rent was too high for the tents.
Another positive is the food provided. Traditional dishes were tasty and buffet was awesome.
Do try early morning cycling trip from the tent city to see sun rise.

100% recommend everyone to taste the phenomenal culture and stay at the tent city. The tents, activities, food and tent city itself was very diverse and accommodating. Food was thoroughly enjoyable so rest assured.

Tents itself were also amazing, very comforting and tidy. The white rann was a surreal experience, with witnessing the magical sunrise and sunsets!

Overall very positive experience and urge everyone to have such an experience!

Visited the place with family we loved the hospitality. The food was authentic Gujarati food for all entire tour packages days covering the whole range of varieties. Staff was well groomed and polite. Tents were well maintained with amenities. view on full moon night was something which I recommend for must see. overall excellent tour.

Had a great time at the Rann Utsav- the tent city. This place is spread across huge space and has more than 500 tents spread over various clusters. Based on your comfort and budget we can book the room. Also they have a good facility to transfer the guests in their premises by autos, solar vehicles. From the time you enter the tent city everything is taken care of including food, your site seeings etc. The only place you need to pay is for the additional adventure games you go to. They have an inhouse massage center which we felt is a little expensive. If you have time and no budget constraint then good to have it done. As for shopping they have quite a few shops inside the tent city which caters to various tastes and budgets with the local Gujarati flavours. If you want to carry something to gift someone or for your memories good to buy in here. Food is very tasty and the food court is pretty big to accommodate a huge crowd. Late night they have good family shows. The only suggestion would be to have events in each of the clusters as we felt the empty space in the cluster region is not being utilized completely.

Very nice place to visit with family and children, it was really very big like city.I visit this place very first time my experience was amazing, non ac tent package price was very decent but ac or luxury tent was very costly. Overall my experience was very good I really injoy my trip. Also mention one thing that food quality was good but we are north Indian so there are not much options for north Indian and South Indian. Staff was good cooperative. Facilities and others activity I loved.

It's simply wonderful & very well managed.

The only disappointment is parking. They have ample space but not covered/shaded. Leaving your car outside in the open for 2-3 days makes you feel uncomfortable (though otherwise safe).

Please make proper covered/shaded parking arrangements. It's not a big deal, please!

My recent trip to Kutch Tent City was an absolute blast! From the moment I stepped into the Adventure Zone, I knew I was in for an unforgettable experience. The range of activities available was incredible, catering to every adventure seeker's dream.

First up, we delved into some intense box cricket matches, bringing out our competitive spirits and bonding over some friendly rivalry. Then, it was time for some adrenaline-pumping action with rock climbing. With the staff emphasizing the importance of sports shoes, safety was paramount as we scaled the rugged terrain, feeling like conquerors at the top.

ATV biking was a definite highlight, as we tore through the desert landscape, feeling the wind rush past us. And who could resist the allure of zorbing? Rolling down a hill in a giant inflatable ball was both exhilarating and hilarious, making for memories that will last a lifetime.

But the excitement didn't stop there. From trampoline bounce sessions to paintball shooting battles, every moment was filled with laughter and excitement. And when hunger struck, the food counters provided a welcome respite, offering a tantalizing array of ethnic delicacies to satisfy our cravings.

Exploring the streets of the tent city was like stepping into a different world, with vibrant colors, bustling markets, and the rich aroma of spices filling the air. It was the perfect way to immerse ourselves in the local culture and add an extra layer of depth to our adventure.

In conclusion, Kutch Tent City exceeded all expectations, providing an adventure-packed getaway that perfectly balanced thrill-seeking with cultural exploration. I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to return for another epic adventure! 🏕🎉

Pros - It's amazing experience to visit this place. Must appreciate the vision of GTDC. There is always something happening around you. The adventure activities are really nice. The cultural show is excellent. There is one Guinness World record holder artist who performs here. Worth to watch it. His generations are performing it. If possible do visit it on full moon day. It's really mesmerizing experience. Food is of great variety and tasty.
Cons - You have do do booking earlier. Timely booking is costlier as non AC suits are not available.
Secondly the market is also costlier. A regular cap will cost 200 Rs. , which you can get outside for 100 Rs. You need to be dependent on their vehicles for transport.
Overall excellent to visit once.

I love the overall experience this rannutsav has provided. I am a female solo traveller. The trip was completely safe. Amazing hospitality right from pick and drop. Must visit in lifetime. Rann Utsav- Tent City is the best place to stay when you are visiting Kutch. They have amazing hospitality and overall services. The whole staff here is very polite and helpful. One of the staff member named Oves was our tour coordinator and I have to say he is very polite, friendly and he did his job really well. I would definitely love to visit this place again❤

Very well planned, managed & executed.... One of the few experiences in India that delight.... Nothing exceptional but just the simplicity of the tents, food and basic amenities are a treat.... Better for the for elderly but also a decent experience for youngsters as well.... Little to do for kids though....

Generally Tents are not comfortable due to toilet issues but not here everything is top notch the water pressure was low rest everything is fine.

The Complex is well staffed and managed.
The place comes to life at night and is well decorated.

All food items were good only veg option available.

Absolutely loved the stay in Tent city! They have a good hospitality, if you opt for packages, they have everything arranged for you. We had booked a stay for 4 days and 3 nights. They had everything covered and not a penny spent anywhere. Right from snacks, travel, tickets . If you are looking for a tent city in kutch, Tent city is the best!

Once in a lifetime experience in 5 km of tented city hosting around 2000 people. The entire management starting from reception, transportation, cultural activities to food was top notch. Enthusiastic interns of hotel management made the entire stay smooth. We stayed in AC deluxe tent in December. Tent had all the necessary amenities. For transportation to dining area or shops there were autos, toy train and e golf carts. Hospitality made the experience awesome. Food was delicious.We were taken to Rann of Kutch by buses to see the sunset and full moon view in night. Daytime was comfortable but nights were chilly.

Once in a lifetime experience. The white salty desert during sunset and in full moon light is simply superb. But they didn't give much importance to full moon time, to stay at least up to 8pm to feel the fabulous white Rann.
Surprisingly there is no such cultural activity. A singing group with track sound and a 10 minute Garba like dance by the participants cannot be titled as a cultural show.
Expensive stay. Maintanence OK.

Rann Utsav, the tent city, provided an amazing experience.
The vibrant ambiance, delectable food, variety, activities, shopping, bus tours and warm hospitality exceeded expectations. The premium tent stay was excellent.

Great location. Very well designed and managed. Services are prompt. Excellent staff. They have all inclusive packages. Well arranged sightseeing. Pick up drop was totally hassle free.

Most things were good except peculiar stink in washroom.
Sightseeing was great. Except on third day half day trip to kala dungar which was sheer watage of time.

We stayed 4 nights at the Tent City, with Evoke Experiences being the service partner. The service was top notch where they took care of our every need. The tent city is very well managed - reception, luggage handling, tent/cluster management, dining areas, internal transport, sight seeing transport, entertainment etc. They strove hard to ensure we get the best of facilities and experiences. Our trips to White Rann, Mandvi, Dholavira, Kala Dungar were very memorable with Evoke personnel being there for you on every step of the way. Overall a very memorable and enjoyable experience with family and friends.

Great experience so far. Staff is very attentive. Food is very good so far. It's also very clean and the shuttles to and from the tents around the place are fairly quick as well. Tents can be a bit better but you're not really here to spend a lot of time in the tents anyways. The vibe around the place is excellent.
