What a trip it was! Devising ji uncle was very nice and the stay was so homely. Food was also good. Staff n service was also great. It has been 3years of the trip and we still miss it.

It has the 270° kinnour Kailash mountain view. If weather is right, the view will define the word 'breathtaking'. The room was very nice, bathroom was great, owner was very caring. The hotel has its own apple orchards. The common dining area has the coolest vibe. The food was also good.

Mr Negi and his team are amazing hosts.
Room is basic, but practical and very reasonable in price.
They do go the extra mile....saw them prepare Maggie for a 4-5 yr old after 9:30pm

Alpine nest is highly recommended for stay in kalpa, reckong peo. It is located at a serene place. Wonderful staff with very good service.

The best service is assured here. Hosts go an extra mile to provide and accommodate requests as and when required. The dorms are clean and provide a comfortable stay. Additionally they have an in-house restaurant that serves delicious food.

The property is located at a very good location which gives easy access to Reckong peo bus stand and Kalpa too.Managers are warm and welcoming, linens are good.The only area they need to ramp up is food taste. Else a good place to take a halt and relax. Staff behaviour,Location.

It was excellent, why ?!! Very few times in your life when you get the opportunity to stay at a hotel/homestay and expect less to get a decent service from the people. But here at alpine nest, the owner's such a gent, he gave us good rooms, our car got stuck & he helped us in getting the right person to fix our car. And the rooms were great, and the food is just 🫰🏻. We had such great mix veg, chicken, bread omelette. Everything was good and at affordable rates. And at that same rates, you won't be getting such good food. And the staff are just joyful, and always there to help you out. Highly recommended to check out this place. We even extended by one day because of such hospitality. ❤

Best place to be specially the dorme as really comfy and cosy and best part is uncle who is owner. we reached reckon peo at 3 am at chilled morning with no place and no booking and owner not only picked up call at but also guided us to reach there from bus stop. People of Himachal are amazing 🤗

The hotel location and surroundings are very beautiful.
Room is spotless with hot water and quilt.
I was pleasantly surprised when the owner himself offered to pick me.
I think people of HP and specially Kinnaur are most humble and helpful.

Its one of the best places I have visited. People and Uncle who owns this property is super helpful and courteous. I cant tell how good the people are who are running this property. I loved every bit of the stay. 20 to 25 min walk to Reckong Peo bus stand.
Food is the best you get. You can place your customised request on how you want your food be prepared. A MUST STAY when visiting Reckong Peo and Kalpa.

Nice stay. The host is great person. I stay here during winter (Jan - 23). The hospitality is awesome.

The Alpine Nest is a cozy Cafe in Kaza near the bank of river. They serve delicious food and beverages. Cold coffee is my favourite at this cafe. They also serve amazing sandwiches. Tandoors are usually not available during day time. The ambience of the cafe is very beautiful, they have collections of books, various fossils and decor stuff. This cafe also has various indoor games like Jenga, uno cards, Ludo and chess to play with while your food is getting prepared. Over all the cafe is a go to place as it has aesthetic vibe.

Good place, clean linens, warm and welcoming staff. Instead of going all the way to Kalpa, you can stay here as well. As it gives easy access to reckong peo and kalpa too.

The owner suggested some good places around which were worth the time and helped with bus timings. They have a cute dog as well who's equally friendly.

Just food experience for me was a bit strange as didn't find it value for money (tastewise) though quantity was huge...was full and yet have to leave a portion.

The dorm was nice and tidy. It was very cosy and there was some curtains so you have a good privacy for a dorm. The host was very gentle and welcoming. Would do again for a very fair prize of 500 rupees per night

We stayed for a night here. It was full moon and the view from terrace was amazing. The rooms are good and owner is super friendly. Specially the food we had was one of the best during our entire circuit. Would definitely visit again.

The dorm was clean and with curtains. The manager along with rest of the staff are very polite and helpful. Great location + good food as well.

This is by far one of the best options in Reckong Peo.
Located about 2km uphill from Reckong Peo market on road to Kalpa.
Rooms were very clean and had hot running water(in April month).
Host Devi Singh ji is such a fine gentleman and is helped well by cook Bhauram and his assistant, a lad Sonu.
They took such good care of our children and made non-spicy(and very tasty) food for them as we desired.
We will never forget their hospitality.
The perfect option for families staying opting to stay 1 or 2 nights near Kalpa on way to spiti or otherwise.
Few rooms offer view of Kinnaur Kailash range from window, of course if you want to have the closer view of kailash throughout the day better to stay up in Kalpa.
Top floor rooms will have better view but are not ready yet, Devi Singh ji may require another assistant then.

Overall highly recommended.

Stayed at Alpine Nest in May '19 while on Spiti ride along with a friend. The rooms are clean with large windows, a cozy bed and a TV. The place also had good water supply with geysers in the bathrooms.
The upper floors were still under construction and would be great once finished as all the rooms have a great and clear view of the Kinner Kailash range along with Shivling peak. During nights with clear skies we were able to get great night shots. The rooms are also decently priced.
The owner, Negi uncle, is a jolly person and leaves no stone unturned to make you feel at home. He is a little shorthanded with respect to staff but he makes up for it with his service. They serve great Indian food, specially the Rajma.
In all a great experience staying at Alpine Nest.

The owner Devi uncle is such a wonderful person. I reached Reckong Peo early in the morning and searched for hotels but couldn't find anything. Luckily I called Alpine Nest and called to enquire for room.
The owner arranged for pickup from bus stand and charged us minimal amount for pickup (you can ask for paid pick up which is a great convenience). The best thing was I checked in at around 5 in the morning and I was only charged a very basic amount. Otherwise most of the times, hotels charge full amount. But Devi uncle only charged 200 INR from 5AM to 12PM. And then the regular charge for the next day till checkout time as per the policies.

The room and washroom are wonderful, clean and fully hygienic. The room I got had wonderful views fo the snow capped mountains.
The food was so delicious. I had coffee, Maggi, full meal (chapati, aloo gobhi, matar paneer, kashmiri pulao, etc). The staff is helpful and nice. Rakesh bhaiya is a wonderful person there who helps you with everything.

Overall it's a great stay option in Reckong Peo. My personal recommendation if you are looking for a nice accommodation within your pockets.
I stayed here twice.

I stayed here with my friends and it was a very good experience. As it is located approximately 3 km from rekong peo it was very quiet and calm. People were very amazing and helpful. The rooms are vey well maintained. The food was tasty. I would highly recommend to stay here.
