Panchmukhi Mandir

Panchmukhi Shiv Hanuman Mandir is located at Purnea ,Bihar. Here, the temple main deity is a life size idol of Panchmukhi Hanuman with faces of Garuda, Hayagriva, Narsimha, Varaha and including Him as fifth face, having ten arms and holding weapons in each hand. There is a separate Shivalaya mandir and some other Gods shrines also here and worshipped equally by all devotees. Hanuman Jayanti, Ram Navami and other Hindu festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm by all devotees.
On every Saturday and Tuesday temple has crowed because these days are especially dedicated to Lord Hanuman.

This temple has lots of historical background. Temple has statue of five headed Hanuman jee. Generally this temple has crowd on Tuesday. But on any special occasion it is also surrounded by the devotees like new year, hanuman jayanti, ram navami etc. It is situated on the one fourth part of line bazaar connecting road. When this road was expected to expand it is supposed to be demolished but due to its importance it is as same as it is.
