Sirkali Municipality

I want to share here a pleasant experience I had with this office last week. I have a house at North Car Street Sirkali. The adjacent vacant plot of my house has been poorly maintained and with lots of bushes and clutter and was causing inconvenience to us due to dangerous insects coming inside our house from the vacant plot. The owner of the property was not reachable.
I reached out to the Sirkali Municipality office with a petition and was not properly responded in the beginning. But I had the chance to meet Sri R Vasudevan, Municipal Commisioner directly and handover my petition.He assured that he will take action and chided the officials for the poor response. I also reached out to him on Whatsapp and shared pictures of the plot and its condition. Meanwhile the Commisioner through officials traced the contact details of the owner and instructed them to take action.
On 21-May-2023 the owner of the property through their appointed people started clearing up the land and on 22-May-2023. The plot was cleared of all the bushes that causes inconvenience.
I am very impressed with the prompt action my Sri R.Vasudevan, Commisioner, Sirkali Municipality and his team. Thank You Sir and wishing you all the best.
