The Sri Gayatri Mata Temple in Silvassa is one of the most famous and ancient temples in the city. It is located near the banks of the Damanganga River and is dedicated to Goddess Gayatri, the mother of the Vedas. The temple is believed to have been built more than 400 years ago, and is currently managed by the Silvassa Municipal Corporation.

The temple complex consists of a main temple, a smaller temple and a few other buildings. The main temple has a tall Shikhar and a Mandapam in the center. Inside the temple, there is a large idol of Goddess Gayatri, along with many other idols of Gods and Goddesses. The temple also has a large assembly hall, where people gather for various rituals and festivals.

The temple is one of the most important places of worship in Silvassa and attracts a large number of devotees from all over the country. It is especially popular during the Navratri festival, when thousands of devotees gather to seek the blessings of the Goddess.
