Tunga Stop --Coffee Shop

Best for coffee place . Atmosphere is good .

Its a nice little coffee shop. You can stop by for a small break, coffee tea, sandwich, etc. Has a wash room too. A very polite owner. The view behind the shop is beautiful.

Nice pit stop with ample parking space and view of lush green fields(arecanut,banana) on either side of the coffee shop.
Maggi, dosa varities (morning), bread omelette and starting with paddu as well.
Separate smoking area and restroom as well.
Avin, the owner starts the shop at 6:30am in morning and continues to serve with a smile till 9 pm.
He is fluent in Kannada, Hindi, English with work experience (CCD) from Goa

A good small coffee shop on the highway. It's a great place to have quick Pitstop. It's clean and hygienic. I enjoyed my time here.

An excellent pitstop for a tea / coffee and light snack break. We ordered cold coffee and asked him to make it strong - we were wondering if we would get good coffee at such a small place but we were very happy by what he churned out, more so for the price we paid.

Other positives: Huge parking space right opposite to this cafe and very clean washroom too.

Many feel that hardships fall on them only in some form or other. But the fact is that no one, rich or poor can escape adversities and hardship in life. Birth means suffering and this rule cannot be reversed

Jallika, bam in the demon community, experienced such sufferings. Though she was a demon woman by birth, she had all the noble characters and was a staunch Shiva devotee She was kind in nature. Her husband Virubakshan was a demon in body and soul. All Jallika's efforts to correct him were in vain Jolliko was pure vegetarian but Virubakahan ate even human flesh. A Brahmin boy was proceeding to Ganga to perform Shrardha for his late father whom Virubakshan caught for eating. Jallika did all her best to prevent the cruelty and fold him the flesh of Brahmins would change into a poison and kill him. Ignoring her advice, Virubakshan kicked her and devoured the Brahmin boy and fell deed.

Jalika same to Tiruthuraipoondi and worshipped Shiva in the midst of the Velwa trees. She said. Oh! Lond, my husband was not a good man. Yet, I cannos live a widowed life. Please create only kind hearted people and coloose from the bonds of birth She starved for days and when she was in a dying state, Mother Bruhan Nayaki appeared before her and asked her to have a bath in the nearby tank. When Jallika returned after the bath, she saw Virubakshan coming before her Mother Bruhan Nayaki gave him life. The Brahmin boy too come there. The bay asked the mother why the gave him lite back. Mother told the boy that anyone remembering his ancestors and perform the ceremonies with devotion would escape any danger attacking him and he deserved her full blessings. She promised total salvation to his father

Mother Bruhan Nayaki told Jallika that she was pleased with her fidelity to her husband though bad. She promised safety to her Mangalsutra saying that She would correct her husband

The message is that the mercy and blessings of Lord and the Mother alone is the medicine (Marundhu) for us from the sufferings caused by Piravi-birth

Cute little coffee shop to have a small break in between. Coffee and tea are too good with balanced sugar and milk quantities. Neatly maintained in picturesque location.

Good place to stop if you are traveling between thirthahalli and Bangalore. Coffee is just okay but sitting arrangement is nice. Lots of parking available as well. Very economical.
