Ambiga cinema is always a pleasure and joyful place to watch movies with perfect sound engineering.. i would say it is one of the best among theatres in tamilnadu. Ambiga theatre never disappoints the audience in terms of visual and surround sound system.

Still one of Favourite and Affordable Theatres in Madurai. Snacks are also priced decently.
Have Memories of watching most Rajini Films here. Recently i noticed that the bass is so loud that you cannot hear dialogue clearly. If they can update their Music system to Latest Technology it could be nice.

Good theatre but screen projecter need improvement and sound quality to improve and seat also want improvement bass are literally 🔥🔥

Very good movie viewing experience. They have installed a new digital projector and the quality is excellent. Sound quality also is at exceptional level. Urinals are very clean and odour-free and hygiene.

Great to watch movies here. Ticket prices are also low compared to other theater's and sound quality is also nice. Screen 1 is better than screen 2. Screen 2 are not so nice when compared to screen 1 . Screen 1 is the big screen where Tamil movies are screened but nowadays Tamil dubbed 3D movies are also screened here. The food here is also at low rates. The parking fee is also low. Overall great theater to watch movies at low cost.

I go to this place from my younger year. The theatre is clean and the picture and sound quality very good.

Update: The theatre is still the same but after going to various theatres I feel the acoustics are bad and you'll not be able to hear the dialogues as clearly as it should be heard.

It was a good experience for watching the movie.

Excellent sound and vision. 7.1 surround sound was a thrilling experience. Comfortable seating. Clean restrooms. Easy access and ample car parks . Snacks are very well priced. One of the best theatre in Madurai.

Parking : There is a lot of space for parking inside the theater premises. Since the theater is located in the heart of the city there is hectic problem of parking of vehicles. But this theater has a good parking space.
Toilet : Toilets are not too bad but needs some attention of the management.
Comfort : the seating arrangements and the quality of cushion are very good

This is a very big theater with good interior and sound quality. And the maintenance also too good.

It has two screens earlier they had separate names Ambika and Mookambika, recently they changed it to single name called Ambiga cinemas.

It's near to Anna Nagar bus stand and it has two wheeler and four wheeler parking facility.
