is a well known place in madurai.During british period it was a conference hall equipped with library named "victoria hall".Now it is functioning as a cinema hall showing both Tamil/English movies. It's Renovated In 2008.

The theater is well maintained, the ticket costs Rs.120 per person, The seats are well cushioned. Popcorn costs Rs.120 for big size but quantity is less, small one costs Rs.80 quantity is still lesser.

Theatre is very close to railway station and bus stand... And opposite to authentic halwa shop...
Snacks are bit costly tea@30/- , pop corn @80/- ,etc

I recommend this place highly for family members and couples, they have couples seat and the theatre is always maintained neatly. If you want to enjoy the movie without any audience disturbance it's a best place to watch. Furthermore the food rates are high but the quality is good.

I watched many films in this theater. Really super maintaing this theater. Very good looking theater. But snacks are very costly.

This is a hereditary spot. Popular when East Indian company was in Our country. You could see a different architecture with pillars inside.
Now it's a theater. Ya it's ok. Sound and theatrical effects are good. Reasonable cost. Just like other theaters this place is also expensive for snack. Try to avoid taking things in interval.
