Basic busstand with nice facility for the local people. Good for the tourists as well. You can get food outside.

Awesome view from here... From this place real Shimla view start... Hotels, Way for Church through walking or by lift are facilities are available. Lift are near 500 meter away from Old bus stand. So that anyone can easily move upside for Church Street Road. It's really very helpful when walk too much for outside scenery. Only 10 Rs per Person for UP/Down. Taxis facilities are also available from here also from where lift move upside Entry Point.

Every 10-15 Minutes Bus are available.
So Take Patience if u want to save money. ☺🤗

This bus stand is very near to Mall road, some 300-400m.
Except volvo other bus services you can get here.
You can get a bus for new bus stand also.
Eateries and hotels are also there nearby.

Shimla is a very good tourist spot for vacation. The roads are very neat and clean. Locals are good in nature. they will guide you properly to your destination.
You can go by bus from anywhere to Shimla.
There are many hotels and Resort to stay
There is train from Kalka to Shimla the last train is at 12:10 p.m. from Kalka to Shimla

The old bus station Shimla is only for local buses. From here you can get bus for local areas. If you going to outside the Shimla then you have to go to new bus station shimla from where you will get the bus. The distance between old bus stand to new bus stand shimla is 4.5 km. The railway station, Mall road, The Ridge and Lakkad Bazzar also located nearby the old bus stand. It is crowded bus stand. My overall experience was good.

you can find all the basic amenities here, it is very near to town and my friends house too. ATM, taxi service, Food, OLA, OYO rooms are available. Although private taxies are very expensive and its a downtown so you can enjoy this place during winter with Maggie and your drink.
Its a no smoking place so beware of it.
