Shila Museum

We did not expect much going in, but was left speechless by the collection. There is original and antique artwork, relics from ancient civilizations and tribes, special coins, stamps and other relics and many other antiques. They also have a collection of rare plants like neelakoduveli.

A small museum with various antique colllections including coins, arms, press, musical instruments. Also has different flowering plants and many sculputural works. The place needs to be a bit more clean. Staffs are very friendly. It is run by shila santhosh who is a famous artist and researcher. This place is a must visit for those who like to visit museums.

Lots of ancient things nd most expensive things are there ,and there is no entry fees . We can buy ayurvedic things from there...

Nice place to visit. Nostalgic feeling when you see old currency, lamps, radio, herbal plants, paintings and lot..... I recommend for school children and senior citizens to visit to gain knowledge and refresh old memories.

Good Collections.
On has to visit with their childrens to get them aware of old technology and articles used in past.

Good added knowledge to The children of 20's..well maintained and a good place to know about medicinal pants and their uses..Do visit you will not regret. .
