The Runnel Sakleshpur

This is a must visit property.. situated amidst dense saklespur hills. This property is serene and very peaceful... Kudos for the chef n his team for preparing very tasty dishes.. very friendly staff who are always ready to help... I recommend everyone to experience the beauty of the Runnel resort.
Mr. Abhishek the owner is a very nice person, takes real care of his customers.

I had been to this resort with couple of friends and had the opportunity to stay for 2 nights . The stay, food and service was excellent. The owner- Mr Abhi was courteous and very accommodating. The food was top notch and the chef Mr Mohan was considerate to customize to our needs. This is an excellent property if you want to windup and enjoy nature.

Right from the moment we entered and till the time we checked out, the experience was surreal. From welcoming and cheerful staffs to the location of the resort, to arrangements made, everything was up to the mark. Good hospitality from the owner and the staff.We hope to revisit the Runnel resort sometime in the future, possibly for a longer stay.

Small and cosy place. Wonderful staff and great host. Food is very nice and neat and well maintained rooms. Beautiful view from the sunset point. Do not miss out on the wonderful waterfall. No alcohol is served but if you bring your own bottles the staff will gladly chill it for you. We will definitely be coming back here with our dog.

At runnel resort I had the privilege of staying for two nights at your beautiful resort, it was the perfect place to get away for a few days and we enjoyed every minute. We were given one of the swiss tent in the original part of the resort that overlooked the hills. It couldn’t have been any better. The place was very memorable stay for my friends and I. The runnel was truly a place I will long remember.

Was offered a delicious Lunch, evening snacks with coffee, Night dinner with variety & with a king size breakfast with coffee...
Food was very fresh & so homely & the taste was really good..
Rasam is a must try dish here... overall loved the day spent here

One of the best resort I have visited till now. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer, they were really helpful and friendly. Excellent food and the room was well equipped and the service was excellent. The location of our room was absolutely perfect, it was a Swiss tent and one of a kind. There is a small hill top from inside the resort (2 mins walk), The scenery was beautiful ,the view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is at best place of saklespur. If someone wants to visit the near by attractions, it's an ideal place to stay as its very close by to famous sightseeing spots. Luckily we met Mr.Abhishek, the owner of Runnel Resort. He briefed us about near by places and arranged for a safari. It was a thrilling experience overall. I should say, Mr. Abhishek is a very humble person and very friendly, he made sure our vacation was thrilling, fun and safe. Overall it's a very nice resort for both family and bachelor's.

Recently I stayed in this property and I must say literally we enjoyed our stay. I took a villa suits and it's awesome.. Food was awesome and atmosphere is mind blowing.. My in laws also enjoyed... Had a great trip.. I would definitely recommend this property..

We were here only for one short night(arrived late and left early in the morning), but the hosts were very friendly and provided us with a welcome drink . Bathroom was very nice. Aircon was working perfectly and almost made no sound.

Amazing place to get away from the city buzz to a serene ambience with great hospitality, comfortable stay and tasty food. Owner of the place, Abhishek is a wonderful person who will arrange great treks and makes sure you'll have a great time. Have no second thought about this place.

Awesome place with lot of view points . Good ambiance and well maintained cottages. Food is very delicious. Good hospitality. Overall it's a gateway for HEAVEN. Enjoyed our stay to the core.

A pet friendly picturesque place for hills and mist. Accomodation was clean with back up generators for when power was cut off. Staff were excellent and ever helpful. Had scrumptious local cuisine. Could not ask for more!

The place was amazing, rooms were so clean and tidy, food was awsome, it was tasting like home food. Sun rise amd sun set view ppint was amazing. There is a small waterfall near to the resort which is in between the forest giving you a peace of mind. The path to the waterfalls is like a offroad where yiu can experience it in a jeep. Overall its a wonderful and marvelous place.

Very good spot at a very reasonable price. The resort will welcome you with an amazing natural quiteness. The quietness around the place will give a great relaxation to mind and soul. The view point just above from the resort is very romantic. The staffs are kind.

It is not like other resort where there are tons of sports and you don't know what to do. It a calm cozy place which is cut from city's hustle and bustle. You go rest there, have amazing food, experience nature, go on a cycle ride with valleys following you, go for a small jungle walk and there you are on the top of hill from where you can see more than 1000 hills, see sunset, sit beside a camp fire with uncountable stars above your head. Thanks Abhishek (the host) for the experience. He also escorts you to a secret waterfall.

What a place! Situated ADMIST the Western Ghats, Scenic View, good Malnad Food, Great Host, good staff and well maintained cottages and premium tents. My 3rd stay at The Runnel Sakleshpur and many more to come. Cheers Team The Runnel.
