One of the best gov college its ambience Is awesome i went with my girlfriend in there we can connect some chemistry through us.
There is a forest type area is there that was really attractive for couples.
Teachers over there are good with students
But one thing.... washrooms wasn't that much good. I felt vomiting tendency. i think in this rainy season they are not cleaning that toilets lots of good things is there but without washrooms every thing is bad. And the class rooms where average but it feels nostalgically...do follow on Google maps

My college (1962 - 66). I do not know whether there is any resemblence between this institution and sri . Tagore's santhinikethan . Anyhow , it was living in nature or living with nature at S K V C campus . 🙏

I'm a student in this college. This college has one of the best eco-friendly campuses in Thrissur. The college offers ug and pg programmes affiliated to Calicut University spanning across a 14 acre campus.

Awsome college to students to cheer their young age. Ambiance is much better with greenary. accademy follows the teacher gave students to brilliant future.A small greenary spot called mini Ooty is better place to college gangism. College is sorrounded by small and big trees otherwise we say college is circled by green net. Architect of college building is grateful. A positive enery is get by the college ambience.

One of the best Govt. College in Thrissur Town with eco friendly campus offering. Actually College is located in Kanattukara and offering UG & PG programs. I was studied in 2004-07 batch. Really i liked this college and teachers.

Good college in Thrissur district affiliated to calicut university. IGNOU centre is here, you can take distance education as well as ongoing college based studies from here. Good library facilities.

Founded in 1947 by His Highness Sree Kerala Varma, and governed at present by the Cochin Devaswom Board, Sree Kerala Varma College (affiliated to the University of Calicut) is one of the most well known academic institutions in Kerala. College of all colleges.Its a university.one of the oldest colleges in the state itself which offers both arts and science subjects.Famous for their NCC wing,cricket and football team.Inside the campus there is a protected area called ooty a green space with lot trees enriched biodiversity.Green campus with both old and new structures.As the college located outside the city limits no sound pollution issues.Must visit this great place once.

On 2nd May 2022 , one of friend Sanjayan T V from Triprayar , requested me to find out a specialist to cure his fistula related surgery ( he had been advised surgery in Amrita Hospital,, but want to do here in Thrissur ) . As used to be ,contacted Dr.Rakheesh paediatrician
and he arranged appointment with Dr. Abdul Aziz , on 4th May 2022 , and attended him exactly at assigned time and consoled him , he can be cured by a surgery on any day convenient for him , need two days hospitalisation only . Subsequently, he decided to undergo surgery on 25/05/2022 , after successful
surgery discharged third day .
Sanjayan thanked me for making the arrangements and getting treatment of eminent Dr. Abdul Aziz , and his team of paramedical staff , especially guidance given by Dr. Rakheesh and Smt. Gayathri

The idea of starting a new college at Trichur city originated from a committee of prominent citizens of Trichur, in response to strong public demand. The members of the committee approached His Highness Aikya Keralam Thampuran, the then Maharajah of Kochi who allowed free use of the Merry Lodge Palace and the naming of the college after His Highness, Sree Kerala Varma College.
A grant of one lakh rupees and a loan of four lakhs towards capital expenditure and a free grant of two hundred and fifty candies of timber were sanctioned by His Highness. The college was initially under the Madras University but is now managed by Cochin Devaswom Board, an autonomous organization under the government of Kerala.

It's great college, it have a great political atmosphere. Facilities aren't great.

One of the best colleges of Thrissur

I did my graduation in Physics from this beautiful college.The thing I liked the most there was the active involvement of students in sports/NCC/NSS/Arts and of course Politics.This institution has to improve a lot more in case of infrastructure and resources but the kind of education provided is much better compared to other spoon feeding type colleges.

It's my alma mater. Best college in Thrissur district. Beautiful campus. Words can't describe SKVC. Come and experience
