Prayagraj Sangam has always been a sacred, peaceful and beautiful place. The night view here during Kumbh is incomparable and worth seeing. Here, Ganga Aarti is performed at different places every evening. Boating and feeding the Siberian birds can be enjoyed here.

The Rituals: The holy dip, or "Shahi Snan," is the core of the Mela. Witnessing countless devotees taking the plunge in the icy waters, seeking purification and blessings, is a deeply moving experience. The evening aartis, with hundreds of lamps illuminating the ghats, are equally mesmerizing.

Beyond Rituals: The Mela is more than just rituals. It's a melting pot of cultures, with folk performances, philosophical discourses, and charitable stalls adding to the vibrancy. I was particularly touched by the akharas' martial arts demonstrations, showcasing their discipline and devotion.

The Human Connection: Despite the vast crowds, there's a sense of camaraderie. Sharing meals with fellow pilgrims, helping them navigate the ghats, and witnessing acts of selfless service were heartwarming moments. The Mela fosters a unique sense of community and shared humanity.

Challenges and Tips: Be prepared for crowds, long queues, and basic amenities. Carry essentials like water, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes. Patience and a flexible mindset are key. Consider hiring a local guide for easier navigation.

Such a great place to visit in prayagraj.

Most auspicious place where 3 rivers merge at this place( Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati as Antarwahini. People believe that our sins will be gone after holy dip at Triveni Sangam.

Divine and tranquil place, Sangam of three Holi river of Ganga Yamuna and saraswati(dried up). Yesterday I visited this place and was feeling like never to come out from sangam so clam and tranquil.
Few recommendations if you are planning for trip and want to go directly from station beware of auto walas they have liaison with Priest, Boat man. Here everything is negotiable. Negotiate with boat man carefully. Do not indulge in any pooja(if you are not there for that).Cleanness is big issue here so don’t expect it.
Experience the beauty of Sangam. Early morning Trip to Sangam is recommended or after 5 pm in the evening.Sun rise is best time to go their you will feel the divinity in your soul & will give you peace of mind... Ganga & Yamuna sangam u can also see that where two colour of water is also visible....

Don't negotiate with anyone. Directly get on to boat and pay 50 per head. He will take you inside river where all 3 rivers merging which is Sangam point.

It's really peaceful in and near the Holy River. The relationship between Maa Ganga and the soul comes true here.

Praygraj (Allahabad) is a famous city for everyone. This is historical and religious place . Here tha sangam of the Ganga The yamuna and Saraswati rivers. These are holy river for every Indian all people go to Scatterd the bones of death people so that people will gate heaven.

Prayag Sangam, the merging of 3 rivers Ganga , yamuna and Saraswathi under wahini.

River Saraswathi who became invisible at Mana village near Badrinath, comes out and merge with Ganga and Yamuna.

One must take a dip at the place in his / her life time
