Pleasant ambiance with soft music. The ground floor has AC while the top floor is open having fresh air. Personally I feel the ground floor is better if you want to have quality conversations. The top floor is best if you come in a group, you can smoke n dance to the beat! The well come lift concept of delivering food was innovative. Coming to food... continental food items with various options are available here. Hot chocolate is great!

The food was great - I had the terracotta breakfast and it was a refreshing change from several weeks of curry!
This is one of the few places we've found in the town that does non-instant coffee.
Slightly pricey but a nice treat.

An excellent cafe near Assi Ghat, it feels like stepping into a cozy, clean, cool cocoon. Breakfast sandwich filled with spinach, mushrooms, egg (or paneer) is yum. The quality of paneer and eggs are top notch. Matt the owner is an Australian settled in Varnasi, and is very humble and friendly. Try the Hot chocolate, it is creamy and silky. The muffins are yummy too. Super good food at affordable prices.

The food is delicious, the coffee is the best in town but it’s the staff who make the place so special. I tried Vietnamese iced coffee ( Black coffee with sweet condensed milk) and pink sauce Pasta. Terracotta is a lasting part of my Varanasi memory and I hope that one day I’ll get the chance to visit the cafe again.

This place situated exactly in the small gali of banaras but is so beautiful.
Like a hidden gem this place has amazing food along with the cozy decor.
You order anything and you wont be disappointed.
So far i tried breakfast sandwich, pizza, mushroom, burger. And to my surprise everything was mouth watering.

The cutest cafe in Varanasi. It has a very cosy vibe. The ambience is also very nice. Do try their special hedge hog slice. Very pocket friendly too.

Our initial experience post reaching on the terrace was not so good, because I went with my family and I don't smoke. And there were mostly smokers up there, it was a bit different environment... But but just when we were about to exit, we were requested to be seated inside. We ordered Pizza, cold coffee, cappuccino, rum balls. Pizza was thin crust and worth it for the amount we paid, it was just for 250 and the cold coffee and cappuccino were too good. Cold coffee was much better tbh... And rum balls was something that they have launched recently (25 INR per ball) , after trying rum balls from mussoorie, I expected the same ... But these were different , and the chocolate was so gooooooddddd. Overall the quality I expected from this cafe was more than satisfying. And the cost is affordable, plus the cafe has very good vibes specially for people working remotely...

We love Terracotta Cafe! It became a home from home for us during our time in Varanasi. All the staff are so lovely, kind and helpful and the food, drinks and coffees are delicious. The setting and atmosphere are really cool too. Definitely go!

Soothing and relaxing place to eat. Food is excellent. Ambience gives you chilled and funky vibes. A good place to hang out with your friends and family.

A great place to eat and vibe with your friends the food is too good the service time is minimum the food comes to your table almost instantly and the vibe itself both during the night and day is excellent a 100% must visit

The places located in a bit crammed area so you might find hard to to find the place but when you get there the place is very nice in fact the seating area in the ground floor is also very nice and very cosy and very aesthetic. also the place above is very very very nice I must say and the food is also very

The only downside that I must say is that place is usually full like people come there and have food so you might not find the place to sit
The people there are also very nice sweet and have a chat as well
All those small small details which you find in the restaurant adds up to the feel of the restaurant and make you want to come again

this cafe is just amazing. they play wonderful music, serve even vegan food, the vibe is chill and the staff is super welcoming. i would recommend it to everyone that wants to spend some time off to get some new energy.

I recently visited the Blue Lagoon at Taracotta Cafe and it was a fantastic experience. The lagoon was a beautiful shade of blue, with crystal-clear water that was very refreshing on a hot day. The cafe had a great selection of food and drinks, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The cafe has indoor and outdoor sitting space with cool interior for photos and selfies. The atmosphere at the cafe was very relaxed and laid-back, with a great vibe that made me feel very comfortable and at home. Overall, I highly recommend the Blue Lagoon at Taracotta Cafe for anyone looking for a great place to relax, unwind, and enjoy some delicious food and drinks in a beautiful setting.

The terracotta cafe is definitely a must-go spot. If you are looking for a safe, inspiring and charming place to take a break from all the hectic crowd and noise outside you have to visit that cafe. Coffee is great, food is delicious, staff is super helpful and thoughtful. The sweet owner is Australian and we had a great chat about life. Thanks for everything. One of the few places in India with real black coffee. The hostess was really nice and has some good inside info of Varanasi. The rooftop area is very peaceful. Good place to escape after roaming the busy streets.
