Aum Cafe

A hidden gem in this city. I had to come back a second time before my flight out. The food was delicious and the service was great. Highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect and lovely cafe! Staff is kind, prices are good and food is awesome. They are proud that they don't wash dishes in The Ganges and using only filtered water.

Aum Cafe has such a great energy to it. Meals are nice and light- easy on the stomach and good for the soul. I have gone twice already. Great tea selection. To top it all off, they have the BEST DESSERTS (cakes and bread pudding- had them all!). Like the desserts, Shivani the owner, is super sweet! We love her and her cafe! Will be back.

Beautiful spot with lovely ambiance. They have many vegan options and everything is delicious, fresh and homemade (try their vegan cakes and desserts, so yummy!). Also vegan chai! The owner is really friendly and will make you feel like home. They also have a small library, so you can enjoy your food while reading and chilling on this corner of Varanasi. I recommend you to go early in the morning, to enjoy the morning light and the calmness (it gets very busy during the day).

Good place just nearby assi ghat, visit if you want to have early bf and sit comfortably here :)

2 words - Amazing food!!

We ordered Prima Vera pasta and chocolate pancakes, both of which were superb. The pasta has a lot of veggies which was a plus.

We also ordered 2 cold coffees and 1 cold mocha, all of which tasted great. Must recommended!

Perfect chill cafe in busy Varanasi. All Vegetarian, all fresh food, all made with love. Veg and fruit are cleaned with purified water so you can feel secure when eating here. Great tea and fresh juice selection.

Such a lovely quiet space, the highlight for us was the woman who runs the show, she’s so charming and creates such a comfortable atmosphere. The food is great, but the space they have fostered is perfect

This cafe is lovely, the menu they offer is perfect and has a lot to choose from. The pizzas are on wraps which is the best!
Delicious food with lots of vegan options, fresh salad (washed with filtered water) and amazing desserts and coffee. All for a cheap price.The veggie pitta is to die for, and the pancakes are up there with the best in varanasi.

This place is a vibe!
I tried chocolate pan cakes, mocha coffee and orange/apple juice over there. And I would recommend this to anyone who is staying around Assi Ghat.

If you want healthy breakfast this is one of the best options.

This place had the freshest food, most delicious drinks and fantastic fresh herb teas all meant to help your health. My favorites were the oatmeal and the lemon pancakes. An American woman from California runs this cafe and she is a delight to talk with and a great resource for assistance with you travels.

Maintained by family, you will feel like home. Very tasty dishes and shakes. Coconut shake and chocolate pie was very tasty

I loved the few dishes we had there. We had pancakes, some noodles and some beverages for breakfast- all of them were good. They serve vegan food so plus points for that and the owners give you a warm welcome and you get an overall good feeling while you are here or maybe it's the ecstasy of being in Banaras with your friends. Who knows? But I am sure to pay them a visit, the next time I go there. :)

Great atmosphere and yummy food prepared by ladies;) you can feel the energy! ambience of the place is great, too. menu is quite extensive with items you don't usually find in Varanasi - sattvik foods and drinks like herbal tea and vegan masala chai. if your tummy is in need of some fresh non-spicy food - this is the place to go! portions are decent, prices are average.

Amazing place, the family business is really well made, everything is clean, the food is washed with purified water, food's vegan, I'm not but really amazing, plenty of choice at good price, good location, and souvenir shop down stairs, you must try that place. From France with love.

Food was delicious, fresh n healthy. With a lot's of options in juices it was hard to pick just one or two.

They charge pocket friendly payable budget of 500 INR. for two people. They are functional between 7am – 4:30pm. Indoor seating places are available.

Very nice place, the terrace is clean and sunny, waitress was so nice.

I’ve been traveling in India for a month and aum cafe was the reset my body needed.

They offer so many delicious vegan and vegetarian options. I was amazed out how vibrant all of the fruits and vegetables looked and how fresh they tasted.

On my last day in Varanasi before going back north I had such a pleasant experience during breakfast i decided to go back for lunch.

Highly highly recommend.
