#JaiDwarkadhish 🙏

Open all days 7am - 12:30pm & 5pm - 7pm. Free entry. No phones or any electronic gadget is allowed inside. Need to leave shoes outside temple. There are many shops outside temple that can take care of your shoes and phones for a small fee. It's safe trust me, this place is a place of belief. People here are very trust worthy. The sacred temple of Dwarkadhish takes you back to history. The temple is constructed with old brics. Just when you enter the 2nd main gate, pandits will approach you to give you idol darshan via special line that is less crowded and less time taking for a fee. My pandit asked for Rs. 300 dakshina and he gave an entire tour of the temple. The entire temple, not just the main Dwarkadhish idol, as there are many seperate temples inside. Not only this, 1st time I didn't get enough time for idol darshan, it was very quick and dissatisfied I told this to pandit and he made me stand in the special line again, cause money didn't matter but the idol (prabhu) darshan with satisfaction mattered. It's one of the 4 #Dhams in India, indeed ita special and lifetime experience. When they open the curtains for Dwarkadhish darshan, you forget all pain, struggle, everything. Must visit once in your life for sure

Bolo Jai Dwarkadhish 🙏🙏

The Dwarkadhish Temple, located in Gujarat's Devbhumi Dwarka District, holds significant religious and architectural importance in India. Situated on the banks of the Gomti River and the Arabian Sea, it is revered by Vaishnavites, particularly devotees of Lord Krishna. The temple is regarded as one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites, making it highly sacred to Hindu believers.

Commonly referred to as Jagat Mandir, the Dwarkadhish Temple is under the protection of the Archaeological Survey of India due to its historical and religious significance. Its architecture reflects the rich cultural heritage of the region and draws pilgrims and tourists from all over the world. Visiting the temple and seeing Lord Dwarkadhish gives off very good vibes and positive energy. This is a must visit place for the hindus. Dwarak is one of the four holy pilgrim places known as Char Dham for Hindus. The structure is made of sandstone as are all the temples in the vicinity. Hence there is a great deal of wear and tear caused by the salt wind from the sea which can be seen on the temple structure. The temple is also famous for changing its dhwaj (flag) 5 times a day. The flag is triangular in shape, is around 50 feet in length.

The temple's location near the Gulf of Kutch adds to its allure and spiritual ambiance, providing devotees with a serene and picturesque setting for worship and reflection. As a key religious tourism site in India, the Dwarkadhish Temple continues to attract devotees and visitors seeking spiritual enlightenment and cultural exploration. The original structure was destroyed by Mahmud Begada in 1472

The temple, situated in Dwarka city of Gujarat, India, is among the revered stops of Char Dham, a significant Hindu pilgrimage circuit. Dominating the landscape is the main shrine housed within a five-storied edifice. Hotel and guest hours are available near the temple. You can walk to the temple through narrow lanes with shops at both sides of the road.

Upon arrival at the temple premises, please be advised that mobile phones and luggage must be deposited. Only gentlemen's wallets and small ladies' purses are allowed inside. Additionally, you may carry child food or water in a small plastic bag. Mobile phones can be deposited in the regular lockers provided, free of charge.

Dwarka, one of India’s seven holy pilgrimage sites, is not only religiously significant but also archaeologically substantial. Located at the western tip of the Saurashtra peninsula in the state of Gujarat, Dwarka has great importance both as one of the four principal holy places. It is also one of the seven holy towns to visit. However, Dwarka’s archaeological and historical background is shrouded in mystery. The city’s earliest incarnation, known as the “ancient kingdom of Krishna” in the epic Mahabharata, was spread across nearly 84 km as a fortified city where the Gomti River and the Arabian Sea met. When Krishna died, it was assumed that the ancient city sank beneath the Arabian Sea. Historians and archaeologists are diving to find evidence proving the existence of Krishna’s majestic kingdom, the lost city of Dwarka.

According to the Mahabharata’s 23rd and 34th stanzas, the city was inundated and submerged by the Arabian Sea on the same day that Krishna departed the Earth to join the spiritual world after 125 years, and this is when the Kali age began. The ocean’s deity reclaimed the land, sinking lost city of Dwarka but sparing Lord Krishna’s palace. It is also said that lost city of Dwarka was attacked by Vimana, a flying machine.

The description of the fight piques the interest of ancient alien theories, as it appears to imply that it was fought with sophisticated technology and powerful weapons, possibly even from orbit. The spacecraft launched an attack on the city using energy weaponry, which resembled a lightning strike to onlookers, and it was so devastating that much of the city lay in ruins following the attack.

Until recently, Dwarka history was only a matter of folklore. The question “is Dwarka real” was constantly asked. Could it be that Lord Krishna and his aerial fight were more than just a legend now that the remains have been discovered underwater and with many signs pointing to this being the famous Dwarka, the residence site of Lord Krishna?

Jai Shree Krishna! 🦚

As an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna, visiting this place fills my heart with immense joy. It holds significant spiritual importance as it is where our beloved God ruled, lending its name to the location.

For those considering a visit, I sincerely urge you to experience it firsthand rather than reading reviews. A humble request is extended to all to refrain from littering and to treat fellow visitors with kindness. May the divine blessings of Lord Krishna be with you.

One of the four Dhams is Dwarika. Dwarkadhish temple is lord Krishna temple. There are many more temples inside the premises. Mobiles and bags are not allowed inside the premises, better keep them at a hotel or nearby shop. Prasad is available in the temple. Great place to feel the spiritual vibes. You can get a hotel and guests house nearby the temple.

Shree Dwarkadhish temple is one of the four Dhams in India which is one of the major pilgrimages for Hindus.
The temple is located around 2.5km from the railway station. Check the temple timings before visiting as the temple remains closed during the afternoon time. It is said that this place used to be Shri Krishna’s office and Bet Dwarka used to be his home.
The temple management is extremely outstanding and I was able to get the darshan within half an hour, the line was moving and the darshan was very significant and amazing.
Please note that mobiles and luggage are not allowed inside the temple and you have to deposit it before entering the temple. There are counters available to deposit or else you can deposit it at any of the shops after buying the prasad.
Overall it was a very divine experience visiting the Dwarka temple and seeing the idol of Lord Krishna.

The oldest temple in dwarka with amazing vibes of Sri Krishna ji is situated among the banks of gomti river and the temple has a unique architecture along with hare krishn slogans rising from all directions. The temple premises are as usual crowded with vendors and some children asking money in return of applying tika on your forehead. Mobile phones are not allowed inside the temple premises. The temple complex consists of around 24 temples of different deities along with Radha ji. We had our darshan of lord krishn within half an hour and we did darshan again and it took 15 minutes. We sat in side the temple and chanted hare krishn for one hour and I felt goosebumps many times inside the temple. One more fact we learnt there is that, one can have the opportunity to change the flag on the gopuram of dwarkadish ji with a prior booking and at a cost of 1-1.5 lakhs. Bhakti has no limits 🙏

Ancient Shreekrishna Temple is closed in the afternoon 1-5 pm and a few more specific time slots throughout the day. Hence, plan your visit accordingly. Devotee crowd management is the worst. Avoid weekends and long weekends. Surroundings are noisy in peak hours, but views and scenes are excellent. Don't miss sunset on the beach. Parking arrangements are good and have lots of options for lodging/hotels in the vicinity.
