Fabulous location, just 20min away from the BR hills. It's an all-inclusive concept. As a solo traveler I had to pay the full amount although I don't eat for two. Rather peculiar. Other than that I had a lovely stay, food was plentiful and host was very hospitable.

Stunning 360° views, clean rooms, friendly staff, bonfire nights, and delicious food. Just steps from BR Hills and a nearby dam, it's a perfect escape for relaxation and adventure. Highly recommended!

Beautiful homestay with a magnificent view of BR hills and farmland. Hygienic restrooms. Very hospitable people who take care of you and provide services as needed like campfire, nature walk etc

Food is cooked in house and was very tasty, home like. Three meals were provided but make sure to check with the owners if it can only be available if informed earlier and booked directly with them.

It's located at the foothills of BR hills, so the temple and safari are 30-40~ minutes away. Keep that in mind when planning because the forest authorities only allow movement from 6 am to 6 pm. There is a dam nearby which can be visited by foot.

Ample gated parking for cars and bikes.

Very close to Bangalore and when it comes to accessibility, don't be deceived by the view. It's accessible via normal roads. The host is sweet and has a lot of patience. Delicious meals are served and you don't need to think twice on it. Just a few steps from the homestay you get to sit and relax at a dam.

THIS IS AN INFORMATION NOT A REVIEW- Bookings for this property are not being entertained by the property owner nowadays. When I reached this place, I was told that they did not accept any booking. I am not exactly sure that whose mistake it was but it was certainly a bad surprise for me. After a discussion with MMT, I managed to get an alternative one. Please do not book even if available online on MMT, and in case booked, please check with the owner by calling. I can give five stars to the people I met there. They were really nice.

clean quiet and nature lovers place. Stayed with family having 2 small kids for 2 days. Vikram sent the pictures and like it and decided to go for a long weekend.
Vikram was thoughtful to point out that most folks stay for a day only, but when we said we are looking for relaxing, he helped us set the itinerary for 2 days also. So, off we drove for bangalore and reached Shivasamudram falls, Gagnchukki side in 3 hours, spent sometime there and monkeys ensured we did not stay longer.
Its about an hour drive from there and we reached by 1. google maps provides the location correctly, there is no name sign, so based on the picture we could figure out the right entrance. They have 4 very nice rooms on the 1st floor, 2 have sitouts and 2 have balconies. we preferred the sitout one facing the hill - its amazing to see huge glass views of 2 sides and waking up int he morning to amazing sunrise views in total greenery.
the rooms were still being readied and we also asked for the sitout room, which was agreed to, and there were no other bookings that time. The place is hosted by Kiran. both of them speak very good english so knowing very little kannada was not a hinderance. Had a very tasty and sumptuous lunch. Afternoons are pretty hot, so decided to go to the BR hills and jungle safari. Kiran offered one of the persons to accompany us, and we were more than happy to have a local take us around. So, with Shibu as our local guide we set off for the jungle safari.on the way he showed us a wild elephant and its calf drinking water in a pond, deer, wild mongoose, langur monkey etc wild animals.
we reached the jungle safari at 3.30 but they have only 2 jeeps and with heavy bookings we missed out on the safari into the jungle. so we went to the Ranganathswamy temple on the hill (btw the temple is visible from the room) and the temple is under renovation. But the lords statues are in a makeshift place at the entrance, and the temple complex offers amazing views of the jungle. so, we spend sometime there and on the way back stopped at the mud dam next to the homestay. there are some stairs taking us upto the dam, there Shibu showed us some rare birds and peacocks. The pristine lake along with the green forest made an enchanting sunset view.
The forest gates are open 6am to 6pm, so we were back at the homestay and took some rest.
Night gets cold, but not as much as bangalore, but it was fun to have a bonfire, have dinner and call it a day well spent.
Woke up early next morning and decided to go for a self nature walk. so walked through few minutes to the dam and saw the sunrise, mist filled mountains, peacocks, vulture, jungle fowls and a happily jumping deer. Talking to Vikram, realized that the mountain is protected for wildlife and there are bears, wild dogs and elephants so not a good idea to go beyond the marked areas. he also showed me a setup for bird watching (and clicking pics) where in they facilitate birds to eat the grain while camera ready folks wait to click pics. The farm itself is very big with bananas cultivation, so to save it from elephants they have a tree house where someone spends nights with fire crackers to scare away if the elephants come. so much stuff talking to them about the wildlife.
took a nice stroll on the dam from one end to the other, clicked some beautiful clicks and then had sumptuous breakfast before heading to Talakad. Thats another hour drive with google maps, and a wonderful coracle ride in the cauvery river - the fun part is the fast rotation of the boat done for a spin. Also there are temples that are being dugout from sand and restored. Real fun.
Came back for a late lunch and decided to lazy off for the evening.
Kiran ensured that he checks for the food and prepares accordingly, quite accomodating on the asks. the 1st day they had a problem with the solar water heater supply, but it was fixed for next day. Really liked the tasty food and multiple rounds of tea/coffee and the pure nature environment.rooms are very neat and clean and it looks to be a new facility.
