Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple

Beautiful temple in midst of sea. I went there during the golden sunset hour and it was really worth watching the sunset from just behind the temple. Spending a couple of hours is not a bad idea at all and what could be better than experiencing the beautiful sunset. In presence of such divine energy.

The temple is famous for its sunset view. The temple is slightly located inside from main seashore. One need to park car beside the approach road from where you can see temple.

One can have a darshan of Bhadkeshwar here as temple is not crowded. There is a sunset point behind this temple hence do visit this temple in evenings. On the other side you can see the rock formation happened due to sea waves. The site is good for photography as well.

Beautiful temple in a shivling shape architecture. The temple is at the sea shore. It was an amazing experience to be there during the evening aarti. The drums and beats give the aarti an energetic and melodious touch. There were some food and ice cream vendors present outside the temple. A good place to spend time with family and friends in the evening.

Such a beautiful and divine place situated on the edge of the Arabian Sea. One of the local streer vendors near Dwarka beach suggested this place to us and we visited in the evening right before the evening Aarti. It is a small and beautiful temple in the form of a Shivling. We visited here and spent some great time relaxing while listening to the waves and basking in the glory of Mahadev. Must visit place. The surrounding area is also good and has a lot of street vendors and things to eat.

This mandir is believed to be more than 5000 years old

The unique feature of this mandir is that some times during high tides and monsoon the sea water will enter the mandir and shivling will be submerged

Situated close to the sunset view beach this mandir is very small with a shape of linga as gopura. The sea waves makes lot of splashing against the rocks here offering a nice messmerising view

The location is just amazing facing the Arabian sea. The temple is beautiful and so are the surrounding areas, especially the sea view and sea organisms.

Woww wowwwww wowww....I can't describe the feeling of sitting there and enjoying the sunset....those winds and everything...you will loveeeee thisssss placeee....I used to visit there every night after my meal till the time I was there ....I didn't want to come back from there it was that beautiful....loved the sea view 😍🪟...do book your rooms near this and enjoy this view every night

A must visit temple during your visit to Dwarka. Temple is located at the ocean coastlines in a very calm environment.

=> It is located at a distance of around 3KM from main Dwarkadhish Temple.
=> It is a tranquil Shiva temple situated on sea shore where you can sit for hours & feel interacting with God.
=> The sound of sea waves hitting one side of temple and the cool breeze gives an enchanting experience.
=> The breathtaking views of the sea will make you capture more and more photos.
=> I recoomend you to visit it either early morning to witness the beauty of surnrise or at evening during sunset hours.
=> At the time of my last visit, a week ago, the renovation work of the temple was going on but still I enjoyed the visit.
=> From my side this is a must visit place if you are going to Dwarka.
=> Plenty of parking space is available.

Although all places of God deserve five star rating but nowadays the thing missing at our famous temples is peace. There is huge rush, you are being pushed around. Bhadkeshwar Mahadev is different on this aspect. It is ideally located on sea shore, is peaceful. You can sit on sea shore & feel interacting with God .

Amazing place to enjoy the sea view and sunset. There is a small temple of lord Shiva. It's around 2km away from the main temple.

Low Water level, but nice spot to have fun , scenic view 🌊🌅 you can enjoy sunset view with family and also on shivaratri there is a special one day funfair stall

The view is divine as it is on coast of sea. Sea waves keep on hitting one side of temple. U can sit there in peace and have good photos.

Temple is currently under renovation. However the panoramic view from this temple is mesmerizing. You can also view the sunset from here.

The temple is a great place to visit on your trip, it's beside the sea with a perfect view and no rush as such. Place was clean and a few coconut water shops were there on the way

It is dedicated to Goddess Rukmini (Lord Krishna's chief queen, beloved consort and the incarnation of Devi Lakshmi in Dvapara Yuga). The temple is said to be 2,500 years old but in its present form it is inferred to belong to the 12th century.
