I'm totally shocked after seen the scenario and environment of temple before entering i think there's a lot of noise around the temple as it is in the main city but when i entered almost everything change 😍wow silent environment and the beauty of temple makes mah day ❤.

This centuries old temple stunned me with its beautiful architecture. Taking photos were not allowed inside the temple complexes but the design of the temple shikharas (spores) reminded me so much of the traditional temple design predominant in East Bengal (the areas in today's Bangladesh).

Maybe the rajput lineage of architecture had been carried to Bengal. During medieval times, Rajput generals and nobles were often employed by the Mughal Empire and historically many Rajput personalities have attacked Bengal at the head of major invading armies.

India is fascinating country, with history peeling out at you from everywhere. But only if you are careful and patient in looking for it.

The area just outside needs to be cleaned up and encroachments removed.

One of the oldest temple in the city of the heart of lord Shiva where you find and 500 year old shivali made of crystals. There also other it is also like Mata Rani Ganesh ji and many other pindis. Situated in the heart of the city and easily approachable by matador vehicles car parking also available and very highly maintained and hygienic atmosphere and the best part was that the atmosphere was so calming and relaxing everybody was very curious and helpful.

It's a peaceful experience to visit this temple...the large stone Shivalingam is surrounded by several small stone and crystal Shivalingams..the main shine also has beautiful idol of lord Shiva and mata Parvati. The temple is adorned with magnificent paintings associated with lord Shiva. This temple is not very far away from the Raghunath temple

It is one of the biggest shiva temples in North India. It is located in shalamar road. Maharaja Ranbir Singh built it. It has around 1.25 lakh small lingams brought from narmada river and one tall central lingam. Temple can be easily seen from road. There is also mela on shivratri. The temple has a beautiful park on the backside.

It is one of the old and beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiv.It was built by Maharaja Ranbir Singh in 1883.The temple has a Central Lingam in black stone.There are also mammoth images of Lord Ganesha,Kritikeya and Nandi Gan.

As per J&K tourism, this Shiv temple has the tallest spatika linga in India along with 1,25,000 mini lingas within the temple.

Ranbireshwar temple is situated on Shalimar road in front of Jammu-Kashmir civil secretariat in Jammu city. Ranbireshwar temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is one of the oldest temples in the Jammu city. It was built by Maharaja Ranbir Singh in 1883. Later on the temple was named after him.
The temple is believed to be the biggest temple of Lord Shiva in north India. The temple is one of the main attractions of the Jammu city. One of the features of the temple is that it is built on first floor and is situated at a big height from the road surface. The devotees have to take stairs to reach to the temple. The main attraction of the temple is the idol and Shivlinga of Lord Shiva.

The idol of Lord Shiva is very beautiful and is considered to be unique as it is not present anywhere else. The Shivlinga is 8 feet high and is made from single black stone. It was built by the rulers of Dogra dynasty. This Shivlinga is the biggest in north India. There are 12 more Shivlingas in the temple which are made of crystal. These Shivalingas are 18inches high and 12 inches wide. There is a slab inside the temple on the right and left side which has around 1.25 lakhs Shivalingas brought from Narmada river. There are also idols of Lord Ganesha, Kartikeya and Nandi in the temple. The idol of nandi is made of brass and weighs around 1000 kg.
