Amazing experience! The hotel is actually a former royal palace. It is located in a small village in the countryside about 10 km over a gravel road from the highway. The hotel is at the end of the village still surrounded by the fortification walls on the surrounding hills. When we (family of 5) stayed, we were the only guests which really made us feel like kings and queens. The people from the small village are farmers or carpet weavers. They great with a big smile. This hotel allows you to experience the traditional countryside in a very nice way.
We also enjoyed the swimming pool so much.
A one night stay is really recommended.

Excellent stay, excellent food with scenic views of the surrounding mountains. We went in the monsoon so they were green. The staff was attentive. To access this place, you have to go through a 4-5 granular track, but its worth it.

Love love love this Haveli.

I was pretty ill when we visited but the room was so spacious and beautiful that I didn't feel confined. Also the rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff are so helpful. This is one of the few places with a pool. I did spend time in the village when I recovered it's a wonderful experience.

We were looking for a peaceful escape for a night but not too far from our home in Jaipur. Found this place Dhulagarh Heritage Hotel.
This one night break completely rejuvenated our souls with its natural and serene surroundings. To reach this place we crossed the beautiful countryside with a long stretch of farms. The way goes through small villages giving us the rural flavours. The hotel being a heritage property gave the same feeling as any other heritage hotel of Rajasthan. They have Maharani, Maharaja and royal suits for guests. We stayed at the Maharani suite that has two balconies, one facing the pool. We spent a lot of time sitting there and completely enjoyed the fort view, the peacocks, parrots, owlets and so many other winged wonders and yes monkeys too.
They have planted beautiful roses. We had veg thali in lunch which was very tasty. The dinner both veg and non-veg were good. The hot chapatis were served with so much warmth that we end up eating more than desired. The breakfast was complimentary in the package.
The staff was humble and courteous.
It was a good experience plus this is the only place to stay which is nearest to the dunes. That experience of watching the sunset from there was amazing.
If you love nature, peace, calm and good food this is a place to experience!

Situated in a quiet and friensly village, this hotel offers a warm and genuine kind of hospitality. It's not luxe, but it is very clean and comfortable. The staff was attentive and they give you their full attention -- like they would if it was their own house. The food was amazing! They serve vegetarian dishes that even meat-eaters would enjoy. A must-visit!

We 8 couples had a fantastic stay for two nights at Dhulagarh heritage hotel. All the time we felt it was our home. Excellent property, the entire staff was always caring for us. Food was fantastic. All thums up to the entire staff led by Bhawani Singh ji, Mr Gupta, Mr Nirmal and the entire team was fantastic. Mr Udai Singh was personally present to supervise things.
There’re a lot of things to do around the property like a walk to the sandunes, hill climb to the fort, a camel cart ride, also had a refreshing dip in the pool. Overall a memorable stay, that too at a very reasonable price

PHENOMENAL!!

We came us here with the extended family (four couples + kids) for a week and occupied four rooms. This is a quiet, off-the-beaten-path place, away from the maddening crowds that allows you to soak in the atmosphere, interact with the local culture and enjoy some of the most authentic local cuisine.

The most pleasing aspect of our stay was the service at the place. The staff is relentless in its focus in pleasing the guests. They went beyond all our expectations in meeting all our needs - all in an unassuming and unobtrusive way that is characteristic of the locals. The manager and his staff stood attentive through our all meals. The other attendants and staff guided us to the sights in the neighborhood, accompanied us to witness the local artisans and also scored some toys for the kids.

The second most pleasing aspect was the food. The chef can whip up the local originals and the western stuffed omelettes with equal ease. The cooking staff consults the guests to set the days menu and accommodates the spice levels to their palate. We savored local delicacies, all freshly prepared and in full display for observation. The dishes comprised some regulars such as chola bhatoora, kadhi, daal, aalo gobi, gaajar mattar, palak-paneer, pasta - and other never-tasted-befores such as choorma daal bhaati, garlics-red-chilli chutney and eggplant.

And the final cherry on the top is the cultural learnings. Located in an overlooked part of Rajasthan, in a quite valley, there are several attractions, but not overlay touristy as one often sees in this part of the world. There is a rich historical heritage that is a source of pride for the townsfolk. The palace itself and the semi-fortified village that it’s a part of offer historical perspective. Amazing vistas of the town and its surroundings are to be had from fortified hill tops or sand dunes, both of which are an easy hike away. There are folk musicians who visit the palace in the evenings to play music by a bonfire. One can visit the local artists as they weave intricate patterns on carpets and traditional Indian dresses.

The rooms are comfortable, with all the basic necessities. There is good temperature control indoors. There is Internet availble through dongles all around the property. The courtyard and the dining hall serve as comfortable living spaces to read a book in the sun or sip a beverage or to sway to music. We made ample use of all the spaces - basking in the winter sun, playing with the kids in the lawns, having extended family conversations by the dinning table, doing yoga / working out in the serene gardens amidst peacocks and once dancing to some boisterous music. There is an outdoor swimming pool on site which we didn’t get a chance to try as the temperatures were too low.

This is not your over the top luxury resort with multitude entertainment options. But instead an earnest and lovingly run hidden gem with authentic experiences for anyone who wants to have them or a serene peace if that is what one prefers. We loved our vacation as we had both of these and are sure we will be back again with family and friends.

Beautiful Havelli-Style place with the relaxed atmosphere of a Havelli. Our room was huge, Marmor on the floor, tasteful bathroom, luxury bed. The staff was very helpful and friendly. For dinner we had home cooked food with a Rajasthan special. If you want to spend the night in village while have the comfort of a mansion, this place is for you, They also offer Camel rides and a safari. Outside is a pool and a nice garden.

Went to this small off beat location with my family for our get away for 4 nights. The place turned out to be a fabulous experience.
The hospitality, the food and just being there was amazing.
This is not a place for people who are looking for regular luxurious hotel experience. This is a place of quite living in the middle of a village which does not have anything fancy.
Taking in the sun - food - and local site seeing. That was just it. The staff of the hotel led by Mr Nirmal was more than anything we could ask for.
Things to do there :
1. hike to sand dues
2. Hike to Old Fort on the mountain top.
3. Drive to Chand Baori (about 60km).
4. Interact with village folks and see the craftsmanship of theirs with hand made carpet and lady dresses being stiched.
5. Eat lots of local cuisine.

Go with a group of friends and family to unwind at this place.

Nice and cozy place inside the village dhula raoji. The manager is very polite, humble and helpful. Food is very delicious, authentic Rajasthani styled and very hygenic. Although it's a small resort actually an old haveli sorrounded by aravali mountain range. It has a neat and clean swimmt pool and a beautiful garden too. Can stay here for 2-3 days to feel calmness and leisure.

Trip to Dhulagarh
.
DHULAGARH is approx 50 kms from Jaipur. You can go via Jamwa Ramgarh or via Banskho on Agra road. Its one of best heritage hotels and belongs to the Durjansinghot branch of the Rajawat sub-clan, descended from Raja Man Singh 1 of Jaipur.
.
Here they offer 20 rooms, restaurants, swimming pool, lawns and a beautiful courtyard to relax. While you are here you can do trekking, village walk and visit beautiful sand dunes. Dont miss to enjoy camel ride or Jeep ride. Beautuful place to relax and enjoy your stay from hustle bustle of cities. Recommended for your stay, get together and family fuctions.

Thanks Bhawani Singh Rajawat for such a wonderful hospitality. We had great time and wishing you all the best for coming season.
