A great number of devotees throng to the temple every day to get blessings. And then there are the travel enthusiasts who visit the temple to revel in its exquisiteness. Poojas and aartis are carried out within the temple 7 times a day, which is surrounded by some spectacular gardens that contribute to the calming environment. When you visit the Govind devji mandir in Jaipur, you will see that its ceiling is cased with gold, giving it a glorious texture. Plus, there are delicate chandeliers that add to the decadence of the temple. On moving further in the temple, you will see that it has various portraits depicting Indian art. The temple makes for a great place to visit especially for devotes of Lord Krishna at the time of Janamashtami, the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. Falling on the Ashtami tithi of Krishna Paksh in the month of Bhadrapad according to the Hindu calendar, the festival of Janamashtami is celebrated on a grand scale in the temple which sees thousands of devotees paying a visit to the temple.

This beautifully crafted architect had seven floors but Aurangzeb destroyed the top four floors. As a result three floors left now where Lord Govind Ji is worshipped.

One of the most beautiful temples in Vrindavan. Near Shri Rangnath Ji Mandir.Its architecture is very magnificent.Built in around 16th century ,The primary deity is Shri Krishna only (Known as Govind Devji).Built Like a Mansion It is unlike every other temples , Mixture of Arabic and Indian Style ).

Majestic place, but be careful there are very anxious monkeys and you need hidden glasses, phone and everything:)

The grandeur and beauty of this temple is magnificent. This temple is about 400 years old. This temple is also known as Govindji Temple. This temple is completely dedicated to Lord Krishna. Red stone was used in the construction of the temple. This temple was built in 1590 AD. There is a saying that the original temple have total 9 floor and the light of the lamp placed on the 9th floor was visible from delhi.

It's very beautiful from inside out but photography is not allowed, so that I did not take any inside pictures. But there are so many monkeys they can snatch your phone, mobile or even shoes. We have to hide our shoes in some corner. Then there was a guy ,he said that he will look after the shoes and then we go inside. There are good people everywhere.❤❤

The melodious chants and rhythmic beats of the drums created an enchanting ambiance, elevating my spiritual experience. Witnessing the priests performing the rituals with utmost dedication and devotion filled my heart with reverence.

The temple complex also houses various other shrines and smaller temples dedicated to different deities. Exploring these sacred spaces allowed me to immerse myself in the religious fervor and understand the diverse facets of Hindu mythology.

One aspect that struck me was the overwhelming sense of community and inclusivity. Devotees from different walks of life, irrespective of their social backgrounds, gathered here to seek solace and offer their prayers. The temple management ensures a smooth flow of devotees, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the premises.

Additionally, Govind Dev Ji Temple is known for its festivals, especially during Janmashtami, the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. The entire temple is beautifully adorned, and the celebrations attract devotees from far and wide, creating an atmosphere of joy and festivity.

In conclusion, my visit to Govind Dev Ji Temple was a deeply enriching experience. It provided me with an opportunity to connect with my spirituality, witness the devotion of the people, and bask in the divine presence of Lord Krishna. I would highly recommend this temple to anyone seeking a spiritual retreat or a glimpse into the vibrant culture of India.

Very beautiful temple, you can got the ancient arkitecture every wall in this temple,

If only sculpture and architecture can speak, they will tell the glory and craftsmanship of the artist who made this temple.

A 16th-century temple, one of the oldest ones, built by amber king Raja man Singh originally seven stories.

And established the worship of Govind dev the Vigrah nearly 4-5 thousand years old made by the Vrijbhan grandson of Krishna himself.

During the auranzeb attack, Vigrah shifted to Govidnddev temple Jaipur and the 4 stories were destroyed the Muslim King

It's one of the oldest temple in Vrindavan. A rare architectural marvel. Entering the temple complex and having a close look of our Supreme Lord Govind ji gives a different pleasant vibes that is something hard to explain.

The inner temple looks similar to the Chaturbhuj Mandir which also has very high arched ceilings.

The most grand and architecturally impressive temple. As per the local understanding initially this temple was seven stories high but the top four stories were destroyed by Aurangabad.

This is the real temple of Shri Govind Dev Ji constructed about 450 years back. The temple was destroyed by Mughal empror Aurangzeb later. it's said that the four out of seven floors and the main garbh grah were demolished then. The main statue of Shri Govind Dev Ji then shifted to Jaipur and a new temple constructed in front of City Palace.

Built by Maharaj Mansingh from Jaipur, this magnificent Temple was seven stories high. Mogul Emperor Aurangzeb demolished three stories only because none of the Mosques 🕌 were as high !
