View from balcony is super good. Rooms are clean n good. Food also taste like home cooked. Loved everything about the stay. The lady host is also very soft spoken. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stay with a pleasant view

What a lovely place! It could not have been more perfect. The room and bathroom were squeaky clean. Food was awesome. The view was another level. There's enough parking space for your vehicle..

They have inhouse food and it was simple and good. Rates are reasonable and it was a relaxing stay in kalpa at the Satluj.

Great bnb to stay in Kalpa

We always look for places which are quiet and serve homely food. The Satluj provided us much more than that. We got best view of Kinnaur Kailash peak from the balcony and the terrace. It's surrounded by apple trees so the view of the mountains is uninterrupted. Kalpa main chowk is barely 600 metres and it's a lovely walk from The Satluj, which is situated right on Peo-Kalpa road. Priyanka is really a warm host. She treated us to the spinach from her kitchen garden which was excellent

One of the best bnb we stayed in. As soon as we entered kalpa,we saw this hotel with kinner kailash views. It’s run by a couple who started this homestay during covid times.

The best guest house I have ever been privileged enough to stay at. Wonderful location and pleasingly made rooms made the stay more meaningful. The view was Breathtaking and the services was out of the world.
If time permit I would love to visit this property many more times and would request everyone reading this to see for yourself and assure you that the experience will be equally Breathtaking.

WOW! A single word must not complement the fabulous experience which we had during our stay in The Satluj. So let me give a complete info about it.

Location: At first, I was bit skeptical about the location, as during my online search, in majority of the available places its either a bit uphill(it's normal though) or you have to walk some decent distance. It was a red flag for me as we have mom with us who can't walk much. This property is just beside the road near to the bus stand.

Rooms: The rooms are undoubtedly good and well maintained as per tariff. Pretty much spacious for 2-3 person. The washroom was huge(at least for our room) Best part of the rooms are that balcony, with clear view of Mt.Kinnaur Kailash and surprisingly all the rooms in the property has similar view, so thoughtfully constructed. You can see the snow peak mountain clearly right from your bed😍. Generally most of the hotels/homestays keep mountain view rooms as premium, whereas they have uniform prices for all the rooms. Here is the edge of The Satluj.

Food: Fantastic! The cook has some Midas touch,indeed. Loved all the preparations. Do remember it's not a hotel where you can ask anything and you get anything. They generally got a set meal plan which is enough for someone looking for a wholesome experience. You get to taste fresh veggies and fruits from their own garden which is a cookie point. In non veg you get eggs only.

Hospitality: If you're looking for a home away from home, your search ends here. The owner Priyanka and her husband who run this place are great human being. I remember my booking was a day after but due to some issues we had to check in a day prior. Unfortunately there was a power failure at that area but Priyanka informed everything beforehand, so that we must not face any problem. Though I insisted that we will manage, but she took care of everything so well considering we have a senior citizen and a toddler in our group. I wanted to make it special as it was my son and mom's first visit to mountains and truly they made it possible.

In a nutshell whether you're on way to Spiti or just visiting Kalpa, look no further if you're looking for a great experience in an affordable price visit The Satluj. They are planning for a roof top cafe which must be completed by next year which will be a fabulous dining experience with the view of the mountains. I have left a portion of my heart there while coming back, see you soon The Satluj, this time for a long staycation. Thank you Priyanka! Ciao!

Satluj offers great view of Kinnaur Kailash. The lady who runs the place is passionate about her work. Service and hospitality was good. Breakfast was very tasty. Highly recommend…

Wonderful stay at 'The Satluj'. View from balcony is amazingly beautiful. Full Kinner Kailash Mountain range is visible in its grandeur. Owner Miss Priyanka & staff were so courteous and responsive all the time. We reached late in the night at around 10 Pm still they serve us dinner as per our demand. I recommend this hotel with 5 Star ratings.

The view from the balcony, mountains nestling through the apple orchards, made life a bit easier however for a short duration. Priyanka is a lovely host, never lets you feel you are devoid of company. Talk to her as much as you want and she would be there with even more love. Best hotel in our entire trip.. hotel owners are so kind and loyal that we feel them as family members. Hotel is well located and view from roof top is amazing 🤩 you can see srikhand Mahadev clearly and taste Apple orchids. Fully satisfied i loved it 🥰

As we are doin our all India road trip journey we reached kalpa at our 60th day and we spent our 20days in kalpa at Satluj.

Both our host were very helpful right from day 1 til we leave the property, we got rooms at very affordable price and food was delicious (kudus to cook 👏👏👏) definitely you won't get this cheap in whole himachal.

It's very beautiful place to stay for few days and relax with the beautiful kinnar kailash mountain🗻 view in the middle of apple🍎🍏 trees.

We have been travelling through Kinnaur and spiti valley for last ten days and this was the best place we stayed. You would be amazed by the view out of your window, you would see the sunrise even without waking from the window. On top of these the food has been scrumptious and it is pertinent to mention that the host ms. Priyanka is has been extremely helpful provided me with extra stuff to survive the coldness. Highly recommended.

A rare experience which included an otherworldly beautiful view of the snow clad Kinnaur kailash range and that too from the comfort of the room balcony. The food was great, the hosts were very much friendly and the rooms were neat and up to the mark.
