Hotel Rakpa Regency

Brilliant location in Kalpa, with rooms having direct view of the valley. The morning view was so calming and pleasant. Food preparation was also great and rooms were decent.

Possibly the hotel with best view in the Kalpa. Stayed there for 2 memorable nights and was delighted by the service. Rooms are good and has some spectacular view of Kailash. Owner, manager and staffs are very well mannered and always ready to help. Food was delicious too.

I stayed here based on devil on wheels recommendation and was very happy I made the choice.The views from rooftop are breathtaking on a clear day and food was very delicious and was beyond my expectations. The hotel staff are very helpful and are always available to answer any travel related queries . I would definitely stay here again

Rakpa Regency is probably the best hotel location wise in Kalpa. You can see the panoramic view of Kinnaur Kailash Cluster from here as there is no obstruction around the hotel. Though it need some more maintenance, but if you want to cherish the natural beauty of the Kailash you must have to stay here.

Oh the views from this hotel! And the food the provide! And the friendly staff! And this super cute village of Kalpa!!! In love with this place. A must must must visit for nature lovers. Kinner kailash range is visible from this village, the sunrises and sunsets are surreal.

We stayed in room 307 on first floor of Rakpa Regency in Nov. The room has a very clear and upfront view of Kinnaur Kailash and Parvati peak directly front the room. The staff had provided us with enough quilts and sheets to keep us warm during the negative temperatures. The room was covered in green carpet so our feet didn’t feel cold even when we walked barefoot. They have separate dining hall and the food they’d served us was very up to the mark and tasty. The hotel has a very beautiful garden and there are seats and tables in the garden for one to enjoy a cup of tea while watching the majestic Kinnaur Kailash view. The location of the hotel is also unparalleled. The hotel is surrounded by apple gardens. The staff and manager had been very kind and friendly with us. Just happy with the experience we’d there.

Great place. Front corner rooms have the best view. Hotel location is very peaceful and serene. Decent food. They have garden sitting,so one can just sit and enjoy the view while sipping tea/coffee or have food there!

All I want to say is stay is , it is one of the best stay experience for me.
Kinnaur Kailash view from hotel room will be in my memory for a long time.
Rooms, food, owners and employees behavior is good beyond expectation.

The hotel is located at the best spot in Kalpa, you can see the snow capped kinnar kailash range from your room's balcony. They have gesyer installed in every room. They provide double blanket so need not to worry about any snowy/chilly season. The food is better than average. Do ask for noodles of you're visiting there.

I visited Kinnaur last October 2019 and again In April 2021.. Stayed at Hotel Rakpa Recency. I had a very good and memorable experience. Rooms are well set up with all amenities and comfort. Food is also palatable. Surrounding scenery is awesome and mesmerising. You will get the view of Kailash kinnaur , a heavenly abode from the balcony. Apple trees, full of rosey apples, a rare scene for people of Kolkata you will find in October. In April this year I found snowfall. Usually you find snowfall in March-April. The owner Sandip Karar is very polite and cooperative and his Hotel staff is also very decent. You will find homely atmosphere and reasonable price. My advice is if you go to Kinnaur go to Rakpa Recency and enjoy your holidays and make it memorable. You will feel that you are in some foreign land.

It is one of the best hotel in kalpa region. It can be seen from a distance and the view from the hotel is epic. You can see the kinnaur kailash peak clearly. The hotel service is good and rooms are clean. You can seat on terrace facing the peaks and savour your meals.

Nice place to stay. Staff is friendly. Room is a little bit small but surroundings are awesome.

Very nice hotel at a convenient location away from kalpa market. Frequented by bengali tourists even the manager is Bengali. Awsome view from balcony with apple orchards all around. Go here in last week of september to see full grown apple on trees.

The room was very good . The view was pretty average . However the service, washrooms and the food was pretty good.
