Wayanad Backpackers Tent Camping

We had an incredible experience with Wayanad Backpackers! From the seamless pickup at Ambalavayal bus stop to the warm welcome with delicious snacks, the attention to detail and hospitality was remarkable. The sunset viewpoint trek after the adventurous Jeep ride to a cliff peak was breathtaking. The dining experience was exceptional, complemented by the dinner, campfire, and fireworks. The overnight stargazing tent stay was a unique and unforgettable experience. The morning trek offered stunning views as well. Kudos to the team for creating such a memorable stay!

My experience with Wayanad Backpackers Camping was wholesome and a lifetime experience. It was full of adventure, joy, excitement and what not!! Superb experience! I just wanted a tent stay and called them. Akhil planned that and much more for the entire trip in advance and kept guiding me to go places. More than being a great host, he went overboard to make the experience unforgettable. I am definitely planning more trips with them. They do have packages for families and large groups, ask for Akhil!

A joyful experience visiting this lovely place for camping was just mesmerizing. Must visit those who are camping lovers. Food was so good and staff were polite and nice. Both the sunset and sunrise views were the best experience we ever had. especially the morning view after an amazing sleep inside the tent on the hill top. The safety ensured by these guys are really appreciable, So we strongly recommend these guyz for couple camping and she camping.

It was an amazing experience with Waynad Backpackers. I went all the way to Waynad for this and I am glad I travelled that far. Hospitality is just amazing. One of the best locations in India to camp and witness the magic of nature. It will be one of the best sunrise of your life. You visit on mountain top at night where the sky is covered with millions of stars and camp there to witness the sunrise. The homemade food is delicious and gives you an authentic Kerala feel. If you are thinking of going here just go with your eyes closed and rest they will take care. Akhil and Sarath are gem of a person and will take care of everything you need.

Such a lovely experience being close to nature and camping at a mountain top. The backpackers guide you well and take care of you nonintrusively , while ensuring safety, space and privacy for trekkers and campers.

It offers breathtaking views and experiences for you to cherish, especially sunset at Yellow Rock (check sunset timing for the day and be there early enough!) and sunrise (check sunrise timing for the day and wakeup early to catch it) - simply wow! . Other very famous attractions like Edakkal caves, Phatom rock, Karapuzha dam etc are nearby and they will guide you.

The homestay where they organise food and give you a room for freshening up, is simple, good enough and gives you safe and hearty dinner and breakfast.

Good homestay, food and staff. Akhil is really considerate about our needs. Sunset trek and camping for sunrise was topnotch. Do contact them if you're looking for an awesome vacation in wayanad.

Really it was nice ambience
The people are very friendly.
It was not like a pay and stay. It was more over like a stay at a friends place and the jeep ride to the tent was a good exprience and the sky at night was the best to star gaze , well morning to see the clouds was a wonderfull place to wake up in that view... Will definately vist for the next time
