Small station having all the facilities. It has lift for elderly people and accelerator for climbing. All major train on Chennai coimbatore route have halt on this station. I has 04 platforms. The platforms are cleanly maintained. Veg and non veg restaurants are seperate. Aavin milk outlet is available in side the junction.

The Fantastic and Well maintained Railway Station in Southern Railways .. More than 99 Trains Passed Daily up and Down in Erode Station. Once Again Prove the Cleanest and Neat Station. Food Court was very Neat and Clean But Quality was very Poor . 24 Hours you will get the Transport Facility on Corporation & Private Buses and Auto rickshaws and Call taxi & Local Taxi also Available .. In the Opp to the Railways More veg and Non veg Hotels here, with in 100 meter distance more than 5 Best Lodges Here ...and In side the Railway Junction Passengers lift and escalator Always Working Here ...

I have rated this star 5 star not because this is the best station in the world, but by the standards prevailing in Indian Railway stations this is one of the best.

Cleanliness in the station both in the station platforms and in the other areas are pretty good. More importantly in the two days I spent at this station (retiring room) , I was able to notice the importance that is placed in terms of cleanliness.

The underground walkway connecting various platforms is very clean, much better than Coimbatore and Bangalore stations.

While i was walking near a set of toilets in the 3rd platform, surprisingly i did not get any foul smell.

Park inside the station complex is well maintained too.

Retiring rooms are badly maintained
Let the authorities spend some time in maintaining them as well.

5 stars primarily for the importance given by the team to improve the station.

Full marks to cleanliness. Even railway track at platform has been cleaned.

Morning time breakfast is available with dosa, vada, Idly.

Did not find a tap written drinking water.

Rocky place, rocks has been cut. This is not good. We need to maintain the natural beauty.

You will find too many neem trees just after platform finished. Tgis 8s god for environment.

Station building was painted, entrance floor are fixed with tiles.

General ticket counter was m moved on right side of the building with previous reservation counters.

Old General ticket counter was updated as information centre.

Near Ticket counter, Information centre and Subway passage were enclosed with sheets for better ambiance and lighting.

CCTV cameras are to be placed in few days(as to the update) as on date general tickets are not issued.

Eroad railway station is the most popular railway station in Tamil Nadu. All the basic specialties available here. Most of all the districts crossing trains are running in eroad railway stations. There is good maintenance. Fast ticket bookings are available here. Overall very good.

The station is clean and neat... Platforms are easily accessible with lift, steps and facilities. Each platform has food shops for getting things. The most important thing is that the station has a waiting Hall for short or intermediate time to stay with all facilities like charging, couch and air condition.

One of the important and major junction in India. Clean station. Many long distance trains have technical halt in Erode Junction. Many of the times the coach indicator is not working. They are announcing coach number through mic that are not understandable too. It is difficult to passenger finding their coach.

Well maintained junction with Escalator and lift. All the trains which crosses erode will stop in erode for at least 5 to 10 min more than other stations. Inside junction itself we can take taxi service for inside and out of erode - Red Taxi. They've app and direct booking also.

One of the best railway station in India. From Erode you can get train all over India. Best parking facilities and clean station.. Food court also amazing .. very safe railway station.. waiting area and platform very nice .. always get announcements about train arrivals and departures... from City we can get bus to train station all time ..

First of all Erode Junction is very clean and easily accessible. It ranks amoung Top 10 cleanest railway station in India. It is located in heart of south India and connects various train from all states kerala, karnataka and from south india. Erode is only Junction in Sothern Railways where you can find both Electric and diesel loco sheds. Working with over capacity and good service. Most of the Long haul trains from kerala and south india gets Engine changed here. Water filling for train is also main feature available here and almost all trains travelling from South to North India via Erode junction gets water from our station. Under smart city scheme, Erode junction is revamped with Lift and Escalators for passenger convinence and Google Free wifi is "Railwire" available is available at good range and speed.

I have spent a very brief period of time in this place. All over, it's a useful station connecting some of the important areas around it. Although, there was lack of enough foodstall from me. But it's not a complete deal breaker because it is a small town and I understand that. Otherwise the station was pretty clean and they have done some renovation works very recently.
