Paradise ! We spend 3 stunning nights. All was perfect. I recommend this place close to beautiful temples.
The cottages are among nature, pool is large and beautiful.
Food was excellent and the staff very kind, helpful and professional.
Massages also excellent.

The morning nature walk was nice with kaushik and we learnt about local birds. 🦅 This was complimentary!

Freshly made Tea and snacks at the hut while watching peacocks 🦚 was an absolute highlight!

Bathroom has outdoor and indoor feel so feel so be prepared for little insects 🦟 geckos 🦎 and chipmunks 🐿 to enjoy the space with you while you shower! 🚿

The massage ladies Suryalaxmi and Precilla were also very good! So was the service at the restaurant

A real paradise in Tamil Nadu. Beatifull garden and a lot of activities including an amazing swimming pool. Very tasty an very good restaurant: a special mention for all the staff very professional and kind but the real best person is Miss Devika in the restaurant a real adorable girl with a beatiful smile and fantastic eyes! Thank you Devika!

Had an awesome experience of village life with my family. The experiences were much more memorable due to extraordinary service and kidness of staffs Me.jebi Mr.selvakavi Mr.Rajesh . Try the authentic menu which is another exceptional experience.

We were here recently staying in four rooms. Our daughter had an allergic reaction to mosquito bites and the staff rushed into the city on a late Sunday night and returned with a mosquito net in 1/2 hour. Rajesh at the front desk and Ramesh were instrumental in making this happen. We would have left the next morning cutting short our 3 night stay but for these two. Earlier, Manager Teresa worked the phones to get us the fourth room we had requested. Latha who cleaned all our rooms ensured that there were extra repellents where our daughter stayed. The place has a staff who are exceptionally caring and go out of their way to make your trip pleasant. The property is well maintained and close to nature. The dancing peacocks are a treat for the eyes. The sweet-smelling flowers and the waterfalls soothe your senses. The food is awesome - the traditional, organic recipes are the best. Overall, we had a great time, a very good family get together. The one thing we would do differently the next time is that we would call ahead to ensure that our room is set-up with mosquito nets. We did have Off, repellent/spray and clip-on fan with us. We highly recommend it if you don’t want to be bitten by insects.

A fantastic resort which has been painstakingly built using traditional methods of a Chettinad home. The resort provides a lot of solitude and relaxation while providing great access to the spiritual and religious places around Kumbakonam. The attached Ayurvedic spa is also wonderful. Highly recommended for those seeking luxury stay options in Kumbakonam

It was a blissful stay at Mantra Koodam and one of the best in our Tamil Nadu vacation. It is located away from the hustle and bustle of Kumbakonam town, in a quaint quiet village. The service of the staff is noteworthy. They are very polite, courteous, prompt and earnest. The resort is environment conscious and have made many efforts to reduce plastic. There are activities for kids to keep them engaged and the resort has lots of peacocks! The rooms are extremely clean and well maintained, especially the bathrooms which were stocked with lovely herbal soaps and shampoos. They have maintained a nice Kumbakonam temple charm within the premises with temples and deities. I loved the breakfast especially that they provide the healthier version of the local cuisine like millet dosas, idlis and upma.
Would like to thank Ms.Treesa who was an exceptional host and I can’t wait to try out their next resort. We stayed for 3 days and we were on local temple tour. Appreciate the management and staff for making our trip memorable. It was an amazing experience which senior citizens and kids equally enjoyed!

All the staff are very supportive and the food was awesome. Especially chef Mr.Jagannathan personally came to the table and was very concerned about our requirements.

Room was very good and clean. Especially bathroom was very nice with a traditional open sky bathroom.

It was truly a delightful experience at CGH - mantra Koodam. We stayed there for 3 nights should call it the most relaxing experience. The property in itself is well maintained close to nature experience. We had the most scrumptious meals very authentic. The staffs are well trained most friendly and helpful you will find. Very close to many prominent temples this property is a must visit if you are looking to unwind.
This is the 5th CGH property we have been too and as usual they never disappoint.

Great hospitality, hygienically maintained surroundings and amazing food! We had an enjoyable and a relaxed stay at Mantra Koodam. I would like to add that the rooms were exceptionally clean and the bathrooms very neat . Loved the concept of an airy and a well ventilated bathroom. The staff is very polite and humble and very helpful with a smiling face. The ambience is aesthetically done, wanting you to come again and again.

This is a fantastic property located in a village and natural ambience. Beautiful surroundings to relax and enjoy with peacocks and birds. The food at their restaurant was delicious. All the resort staff provided awesome service with their amazing friendliness and professionalism. I would like to make a special mention of the unspoken heroes in the housekeeping service especially Ms Latha, Ms Ramlakshmi, Ms Baby and Mr Arun. Keep up the great work. Definitely will visit again.

The overall experience was fabulous and we had a very good time. The staff were very warm and gave anything we wanted almost instantly. They even abandoned their work and played carom with us when there were not enough people. The dining area had plenty of lighting and the food is prepared for scratch. You may get a little irritated waiting for the food but when you taste it you will definitely agree that it was worth the wait !
The servers are all dressed in indian attire and the names in the menu were also indian.
They also had a tea kadai ( shop) were there was tea and coffee available in the mornings and evenings at a specified time. There was also an electric buggy there to take your luggage to and fro.

We had a relaxed trip and if you want a getaway in nature and a change from you daily life this is the perfect place for you.

We visited this place for lunch and this place did not disappoint us. The food was also quite delicious. We had ordered the south Indian platter to have a taste of local delicacies. It was very tasty. The palce also has great ambience. The service was great. A good place for a quick getaway from the city life.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience staying in this serene and quiet resort. Out of the world experience. My son and I had a good time taking in the beauty of nature and enjoying the scenic view of the resort. The idea of such a setting away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city life is simply wonderful.
However, I will want to come again to the resort simply because of the humble and friendly staffs of the said place. You have a range of wonderful employees who are great in representing humbleness and respect. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I will definitely come again. Have started recommending a few good friends too... 💞

Our stay at Mantra Koodam felt like a unique and exceptional experience not comparable to even star hotels. The accommodation, herbal toiletries and the fresh organic food are a class apart.

It was an excellent experience at Mantra koodam Resort. The ambience was very good, the staff were kind and the whole stay was so calm. Ayurvedic spa was rejuvenating.
Taste and variety of food needs to be improved, especially for breakfast !!
I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful stay at Kumbakonam !!

Amazing property. You get up to the sounds of the peacocks calling. Great food. Very spiritual ambience. Rooms are large with big bathrooms and open showers. It's a center point to all the 9 planet temples in and around Kumbakonam.

Tranquil location.. Food was not quite up to quality of other cgh earth hotels. Great service.
