Om Namah Shivaya... Wonderful Temple... Thankfully water was back when I reached. I visited on 24/11/2024 at 11:00 AM, two days before full moon day. And within 30 mins water started coming front. It will take 10 to 15mins to reach the temple from the shore. Please check the low tide timings and plan accordingly.

The temple is in the middle of the water. U have to wait till the water goes back. The locals can tell when there is low tide and high tide .

I recommend not wearing white it can be stained.
And wear sturdy footwear or you can walk barefoot.

One the oldest and the most pious places of worship for Hindus. Nishkalnk Mahadev temple has five shivalingas which were founded by five Pandavas, after the great war of Mahabharata. By establishing these great Shivalingas Pandavas were able to washout the kalankas of killing of their cousins during the war. That's why the temple named Nishkalanka Mahadev. The temple usually remained submerged in sea during tide hours. One can have darshan during time of ebbs. This is really a great place having historical as well as Religious importance. The place is located near Koliyak village which is about 30km from Bhavnagar by road. A must visit place for Shiva devotees.

A divine and serene place. Felt so excited and elated. The visit was possible only with the Blessings of Lord Shiva. I was wanting to visit this place since some 10-11 years ago. He made it possible on 28-11-2023. I would come again with my wife and daughter. Om Namah Shivaya ☘

This divine temple has great history of Pandavs attached to it.
Temple gets submerged in water during high tide and darshan are only available in low tide.
We went there around 11 am and could do darshan peacefully.

You can google 'low tide in bhavnagar' for times.

Wonderful place to visit. God only should tell where the waves and water disappear after a particular time. Really God prevails. Om Namah shivaya

In this place, there is actually a platform which submerges under water during high tide and it comes out during low tide.

Watch out the path used by water to recede into the ocean during the low tide. Follow that path to move quickly.

P.s. The water is filled with pots and clothes. So watch out and don't fall. It's pretty safe.

Temple is located in Bhavnagar, and it was built by the great Pandavas during the end of the Dwaparayuga. Pandavas constructed this temple, in order to remove their sins caused due to killing of their relatives in the Kurukshetra war. Similar to that, if we visit this holy shrine, our sins also would be forgiven by Lord Shiva.
The shrine is located inside the sea and for a few hours, huge waves would be there in the sea, and in that time, pilgrims cannot visit this temple, and it can be visited only once the sea has become normal. In the top of the shrine a flat is fixed. By seeing that flag, we can easily identify the holy shrine. Amavasya (No Moon) and Pournami (Full Moon) days, are considered as most auspicious days to visit and worship this Shiva temple, and during those days, large number of devotees would visit this shrine.
Many scientists and researchers are getting astonished after seeing this holy temple, which is submerged inside the sea. This temple is very good in art and architecture, and still remains as a surprise to most of the people in the world.
The temple was built by the Pandavas after getting blessings from Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna, and from the great ocean god, Lord Varuna Bhagavan.
Lord Shiva is worshipped here in the form of Shivalingam.
The temple is kept open on all the days, and devotees from all parts of India, and even foreign devotees are also coming here to worship the holy temple of Lord.
It is believed that those who suffers from prolonged diseases like cancer, nervous disorders, and brain tumours, are advised to visit this ancient and sacred temple, in order to get rid from their diseases.

A divine place connected with mythological stories, about an 40 mins drive from Bhavnagar.

Best experience is to sit on the beach and watch the water level going down / raising up..

What out for high / low tide timing (which keeps varying) before reaching their. We had to visit twice because we were unaware of proper time.

Its worth to visit not just this but all 4 tempels of Mahadev where Ocean touches Mahadev.

The path is slippery so try to walk through the running water to reach at this place.

A place where you can spend full day.

There is such place where you find history and enjoyment both. This is such kind place.

‘Pandawas’ build this temple in between sea 🌊 more history you can find on Google 😬😂

Local food is quite good 😊

Frequency for visiting place is quite simple and good.

Highly recommend and must visit place with full family

Nishkalank Mahadev is a truly unique destination that offers an unforgettable experience. Situated in the middle of the ocean, this temple is a sight to behold. The journey to get there is an adventure in itself, but the awe-inspiring view of the temple and the surrounding ocean is well worth it. The serene atmosphere of the temple makes it a perfect place to meditate and reflect. Overall, visiting Nishkalank Mahadev was a wonderful experience and highly recommended for those seeking a spiritual or adventurous getaway.

Exhilarating experience. Just check the timings of low tide before you visit the place. The number of child beggars bothered me a lot, but I guess it is what it is. Don't miss to carry some milk for Abhishegam.

Nishlalank Mahadev is a place of religious significance located on a very small rock island 500 meters off the Koliyak beach. This is best visited during daytime and the timings vary according to the tide. The 500 meter walk is through the muddy waters in the sea about ankle high. One has to return to mainland by 6pm as thereafter waters begin to rise. There are strong winds blowing and one has to maintain balance while walking across. Loose clothing is not advised. The place can be visited from Bhavnagar, about 25 km away or a night’s stay can be planned at one of the couple of resorts in Koliyaak itself which are very near to the seashore.

The Nishkalank Mahadev Temple is located in the Bhavnagar district of Gujarat. The temple is believed to be built by the Pandavas, to wash away their sin after the Great War. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva’s deity is installed in the middle of the shrine, and stays intact once the water submerges.

The Nishkalank Mahadev Temple is located 2 KM away from the main land. It can only be accessed once the water level recedes during low tide.

Great place. Sunset is extremely beautiful. One can reach the place when there is low tide. The breezing air, the ancient touch, the flag on the tower and the shivlings gives us a very peaceful, unique, breathtaking and divine feeling. Must visit atleast once
