It's located at some higher altitude and you can have a magnificent view of the city.

Nice place in the center of the city, to visit early morning and evening. Aarti done in morning was simple and good. Few people were there in the early morning hours. Good place to go walking too

Takhteswar Mahadev is one of the oldest and best hilltop temple of Lord Shiva, the landmark of city in center of Bhavnagar at Takhteshwar Taleti Road. This temple was built by King of Bhavnagar Maharaja Takhatsinhji in 1893 with unique architecture supported on 18 carved pillars with huge hall, magnificent courtyard and three-eyed Lord Shiva idol.

It's nice place where we can worship lord Shiva. Moreover, you can see the city view from here. Nice place to meet and chat with friends. Whenever you want calm weather, you can visit this place.

Must visit this place whenever you visit Bhavnagar. Temple is on the top of the hill but you can park your vehicles on the upper side and very less steps to reach the temple. From the top, you can see a nice view of bhavnagar city. I visited this place in the afternoon so there was no public

Built in 1893 AD. Situated on the hill right in the middle of the city that's why its the Only place to see the spectacular arial views of bhavnagar city. It has very specious seating outer area where you won't be on the way of visitors. You can sit peacefully, enjoy sunrise / sunset and fresh cool air.

Lord Shiva temple situated at Highest point of Bhavnagar city, near to Kalanala cross roads, superb place with cool & silent wind blowing on, you can see the whole city all around and even the sea nearby the city. Awesome scene at late evening. A small parking available.

So Much Greenery Here And Very Good For Outside Travelers Here. This Temple Built Many Many Year Ago. All Entries Sea Area View Can Here In Front Of Temple.

Nice hilltop temple in the center of city (Bhavnagar). It have wonderful scenic view around the city, sitting place etc. You can take your bike or car at top, but they have limited parking space. Must visit if you are in city.

Commissioned by Maharaja Takhatsihnji in the 1893 AD, Takhteshwar temple is one of the oldest temples in Gujarat. Takhteshwar temple is perched on a hillock boasts finest Gujarat style of architecture making it one of the most appealing temples in Bhavnagar. Supported on 18 ornately carved pillars, the temple has a beautiful main hall, featuring a three-eyed Lord Shiva idol. Magnificent courtyard of the temple, right below the 'sikhara', boasts exquisite marble work carving is noteworthy and boasts small statue of Nandi. One will have to pass through marble-clad pedestrian stairs to reach the main temple. From the temple, one gets to see the spectacular view of Gulf of Cambay. During the Shivratri festival, the temple is thronged by devotees from all over the world.

The best temple of Gujarat and the best view you can get of the city. It is in the middle of the city so the entire city can be viewed from here. It is founded by Maharaja Takhtsinhji. It is a heritage holy place and a picnic place as well as Bhavnagaris often come here in the evening with family and friends.
