Karkatgarh Waterfall

It is one of the major tourist attraction of Karkatgarh and Sasaram. The waterfalls is located in uphills and it is worth visiting.
But the road condition is pathetic.
It takes almost 50-60 mins from foot of the hill to reach the place. There is a children's park in the vicinity of the waterfalls.
The place is very serene.
If anyone is planning to visit Sasaram, then keep this waterfall in your bucket list.

About 36kms from Bhabua , It's a paradise for nature's lovers . Park is well designed with landscapes and animals sculptures. People are coming from nearby districts of UP as well for weekend getaway. It's nestles in deep forest so you will definitely enjoy the ride to the waterfall as well. Just requesting the people to don't litter around , throw garbage in dustbins provided Specially plastics. Keep it clean and have fun.

Karkathgarh Lake is a unique form of nature, here you can feel nature closely. This is a tourist place where you can have a picnic.There is also a toilet facility in eco park. The way to Karkathgarh lake goes through the middle of the forest. during which you can also see the wild animal of that. But keep in mind, don't flirt with wild animals at all.. Thankyou

Karkat Waterfall is situated in the Karkatgarh Village, Kaimur Range in the Kaimur district of the Indian state of Bihar on Karmanasa River. It is a natural habitat of the crocodile at waterfall and the Government of Bihar is developing it as crocodile conservation reserve and eco-tourism spot

The Karkatgarh Waterfall was a crocodile hunting place for Mughal rulers and British officials who also came to enjoy the beautiful floral and fauna around the place. British officials constructed a dak bungalow with a view on the 300 feet wide and 100 feet high waterfall. British officials Henry Ramsay mentioned it as the finest fall surrounded by beautiful sceneries. The fall is now part of the Kaimur Wildlife Sanctuary established in 1979 and the hunting of crocodiles and other animals is now prohibited.

As chief minister Nitish Kumar is visiting Karkatgarh waterfall on January 8, it is expected that the waterfall may soon emerge as the first reserve of crocodile conservation and eco-tourism in Bihar.

I would nominate the place as the Niagra of Bihar. Situated just in the border of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, the waterfall is created when Karamnasha River falls about 100 metre down and creates a wonderful view for the spectators. In monsoon, the place becomes more beautiful, the area around it is quite a big one and a nice and clean park is found here. Enjoyed the place very much and recommend others to visit it once.
