Narayan Niwas Castle Fort Mahensar

Feeling special to be able to stay in this 300 years old palace. It has 14 suites but they only open 3 to the public. The size is big, our suite is over 100m², full of beautiful details in every corner of the interior, arts, carvings, mural and history.
They serve meals too which is delicious.
The owner is so kind, explaining the history of his family, the palace and so on.

This place is an amazingly preserved heritage property and we had a wonderful stay. Our room was incredible, food was some of the best we've had in India served by welcoming staff. Got a great tour of the havelis from Rajesh at a decent price - he is very friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful peaceful place, we wish we could have stayed longer.

Really loved it. The history here is amazing, suite room was like nothing I've ever seen, historic murals and stunning design. Home cooked food was delicious and having the whole place to ourselves was lucky and very special

The owners are a couple full of passion and time to share. The best souvenir ever! I have lucky enough to stay in iconic hotels around the world, I stayed in Palace but nothing to compare with the experience of sharing a part of the daily life of the 8th generation owner a 300 years old castle. Nothing moved, do not expect five stars service cause you will discover the soul you never could imagine to meet.
Make sure you get the guided tour of the village by Radish!
Be ready for a bit of challenge to reach the place if you decide to join it with a motorbike!!

I absolutely loved the hospitality and the warm welcome at my stay at Narayan Niwas Castle. Everything was taken care off right from food to my itinerary especially keeping in mind my interests. I was travelling solo and hence planned my trips around this place via researching on the internet but when I reached the place, Maheshwar Singh Ji was kind enough to advice and make changes and plan on my behalf to ensure that my experience in Shekhawati is worthwhile. Special mention to Mr. Rajesh sharma who is an experienced guide recommend by Maheshwar Singh Ji, I couldn't have learnt & travelled in this region without him. Thank you soo much for the enriching experience.
