A consistently progressing school - developing children on all grounds, KVM school is a blessing for Ludhiana. Studies are very well balanced with lots of curricular and extra curricular activities. During the orientation prog of grade 9 today, the Principal gripped the attention for almost an hour with activities, examples and practical ways of handling our 9th grade kids.
How to not to pass our set of burden to children and let them grow with free mind and spirit - was explained so well and naturally!
My own son who studied from Welham Boys, Dehradun was grown up in same ways. He gave up Science to opt for Arts in Grade 9, saying he wanted to become a director in Bollywood. Though he had scored 100% in Physics. We never stopped him. His, then Principal, Mr Dev Lahiri had counseled me n my husband with same words as today, our Mr A P Sharma.
Today, my son is an Editor with Sir Vidhu Vinod Chopra. And well settling in Bollywood. Let's form a balance so as our children grow happily! And they always remember their childhood stories with smiling face.

Great school with good academic as well as overall records

It is one of the best schools out there all over India and is undoubtedly the best school in Ludhiana. Though there a few minor drawbacks about the school but the merits of this school easily outweigh them. One can't wish for anything above it!

Very famous and big school in civil lines of Ludhiana city

Very well located and full of greenery and solar energy. Experienced staff and nice building. But monthly fees is higher than other same ranking schools. Adequate parking and playground and transport facilities are available.

Established in 1941, Kundan Vidya Mandir is named after its founder Late Shri Rai Sahib Kundan Lal Ji. The school takes pride in being the first school in Punjab to get affiliated with CBSE in 1963. The school boasts 350 staff members and over 5000 students from kindergarten through class XII. Kundan Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana is managed by the Shri Kundan Lal Trust in Chandigarh.
