Wanderers Homestay - All mountain facing rooms

I stayed here during my trip to Spiti valley. Sudhanshu and family were kind enough to call us on the day of visit for enquiries. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food is awesome. Rooms also had balconies mountain facing, hot water facility too. Breakfast and dinner was very good and tasty that I’ve tasted during my entire trip to spiti valley,
We had a buffer day on the way back towards the end of the trip so we decided to go back to this stay again.
Heater options were also available for the rooms

Over all- very good host and family and very good place to stay . Will definitely recommend everyone who’s going to visit Kalpa to hault here.

What to say, I never expected such hospitality in such a remote place. Right from the rooms, food, cleanliness everything was to the point. Washroom were clean like our home. All rooms provide spectacular mountain view. Best thing was the food they provided us. It was delicious.

I highly recommend this stay to everyone coming to Kalpa. You will feel like home away from home.

Sudhandhu - host of this homestay. Extremely amazing hospitality he provides. He came to pick up from Bus stand & also drop us to there. Yes it was not peak season so of you read and think that gesture in peak season that could be differ as per avaibility. Price is worth it for this accommodation too. He provides all the guidance how to explore reckongpeo. Where to go , how to go and all.
If you all going to reckongpeo by public transport then avoid Sunday. So that you get immediate public transport else end up waiting for it as less available on Sunday or ended up by having costly taxi services.

I stayed at this homestay for a day on my trip to Spiti Valley. The owner of this homestay, Sudhanshu is genuinely a great host and was courteous enough to consider all our needs for the stay. The rooms were clean and had a view of mountains straight from the bed. Food was the best part of this stay, we got lip smacking local food for dinner & breakfast during our stay. Will definitely look forward to staying here again whenever I visit in future.

2) Location: Located at convenient(but not walkable) distance from Reckong Pio bus stand and main market.
3)View from Room:Breath Taking! Picturesque!Every Room has a balcony and I believe this homestay can give you the closest view of Kinnaur Kailash from a balcony.
4)Room and Bathroom quality:Equivalent to Four star hotel.Neat and Clean.
5) Food: Both Veg and Non Veg options available. By the way I am a strict non vegetarian but the 1st dinner I had here which was veg meal(since this was pocket friendly too) I forgot about non veg.
6) Service/Safety/Security: 5/5 again. It's like how a good kid is treated by their family members.

Lastly Sudhanshu (the host) please keep up the good work. U can give good brands like Zostel a run for their money.
Uncle ji(Sudhanshu's father) Love u. Will miss the dinner prepared by you and will remember you for quite some years.

We have enjoyed our stay in this homestay at Reckong Peo. All the rooms come with great views of the Kinnaur Kailash range with personal balcony. The room and bathroom were clean and hygienic. The geyser was working properly all the time. The food was very delicious .The most beautiful thing about this homestay is the people here. Sudhanshu bhaiya and his family members were extremely welcoming. We just felt like home there and stayed there for 6 nights. Sudhanshu bhaiya also helped us with our spiti trip. I definitely recommend this homestay in Reckong Peo.

We stayed there for 2 days and the views from our room was amazing 😍 The rooms were super clean and the food was wow 🥺. We also met Daisy such a sweet pet cat 🥺 Definitely recommend to anyone who comes to Reckong Peo :D

Stayed in December first week. Homestay is situated in awesome location. The host of the property Sudhanshu Da is a knowledgeable and very helpful person. The food was awesome. There is a monestry nearby also. The view of Kinnaur Kailash ji can be viewed directly from room. Must visit homestay.

Best Place to stay in kalpa, we 9 people stayed there, home like feeling. They took care of my food as i was not feeling well. Genuinely best food with best service.

Last 25.10.2023 i visited Wanderers Homestay at Kalpa which is the best place to stay at kalpa.
Sudhansu Negi is a very nice perdon who personally takes care of each and every guest.
We are really pleased and happy in all aspects.

We stayed a night at Wanderers and Sudanshu and father were so welcoming! The rooms are neat and the views from the balcony are amazing! The homecooked dinner felt so good at the end of a long day. It is close to the bus stand as well, you can walk to it. Enjoyed our stay here :)

Awesome place to stay with a wonderful view of snow-capped mountains. Our host Sudhanshu and his family is very warm and welcoming. We were to stay in Peo for a night but the hospitality at Wanderer's extend our stay by another day (although at another place since Wanderer's was fully booked). Home made food was delicious in a very cozy dining area. They have Maggi also, a surprise for pet lovers :).

A great stay in Kalpa/Rekong Peo. The rooms are well maintained and have all the basic necessities. The rooms have a beautiful snow mountain view. The management/staff are very helpful. The food served is tasty and amazing. The dining room and the reception lounge are designed with great taste. The mural on the front wall of the stay is really cool. There is a decent amount of parking out in the front, but the approach from the main road is a bit tricky and off-road.

Sudhanshu bhaiji help us throughout our travel. We enjoyed his company in. Nako and Gue village , uncle's food was the best part about the stay. Wish i could stay for more days it was like family away from home , definitely recommend you to visit them if visiting kinnaur and spiti .

One of the nicest budget hotels that you could ask for in Reckong Peo. The hosts and the staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms are spacious and offer great views. Food is delicious and hygienic. Superb for a short stay!
