It was second visit, the food here is fresh and amazingly great taste.. specially the seafood.

Excellent place to stay during vacation. Located close to Tarkarli beach. The staff is very co-operative and friendly. Food is also very tasty especially Chicken sagoti and Prawns thali. The owner was also very helpful in making travel arrangements. Overall, a great place for a relaxing vacation.

Had lunch here and the food was authentic in taste. All the food is prepared by the owners and no chefs are hired. Try their Bangda Tikhla and Saundala Fry and Jawla Chutney. Also they have a wonderful space with hammocks to relax as your order is prepared. Go for it!

Me and my family stayed at 'Ghar Mithbavkaranche' for 2 days stay, had a great experience, beautiful place surrounded by lots of greenery.... met to enjoy delicious malvani food (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) in scenic surroundings. . A great combination of great hospitality and authentic Malvani food.
The rooms and premises were very clean and nice, also Mithbavkar family was very helpful in visiting tourist places, they guided us as needed from time to time.

Beautiful property surrounded by lots of greenery. Food is delicious and I would say best in town. The food preparation will take more time than usual as they prepare fresh food on orders only. Higine maintain at its best in kitchen n dining area. Owner of the property is pretty good and helps whenever needed. The helping boy Kiran is very humble and adorable. Me and my family loved the stay. Highly recommended place for both food and stay

Went for a few meals here. Awesome home cooked food. Authentic local Malvani cuisine. It's just off the road so you might need to look for it. The hosts are really pleasant.

We did not stay here but went here for a couple of lunches. Bot times we had called them ahead of time which helped. The food quality and taste is excellent. We had fish thali and paplet the first day and the next day some Malvani mutton and prawns. We also tried the vegeterian options like Kaju Usal etc. and everything was delicious. The owner and staff are very courteous and overall a very pleasant experience. The property seems very nice and I dont rule out the possibility of staying there next time.

Such lovely ambience. Its run by the family. One part of the structure is where the family stays.
And the other part is the restaurant. The entire family runs the place.
Quality of food is something I could rate 10 on a scale of 5😋
The service is unparalleled. Since it’s run by the family, levels of service are awesome.

Food was made fresh and served everytime we visited, home made very tasty food , both veg and non veg equally tasty.
Though we didn't stay here we had all our meals here and felt at home.
Very hospitable staff and the family. Must try their chicken saguti, kaju masala and veg pulav.

We stayed in the cottages ( konkani house) for 2 nights. It's a beautiful property and it lets you soak in konkani vibe. It is surrounded by coconut groves, a fresh water well. Rooms are well maintained. Food was authentic Malvani cuisine.

I have just returned yesterday from my weekend trip to Tarkarli and I hereby give you all a heads up that if you ever visit Tarkarli, then you must have your food at Ghar Mithbavkaranche. Their sea food items is equally awesome to veg thalis we had there, it was made of such a rich taste that we never had to go another place for breakfast, lunch and dinner; Mithalesh the owner and his family are gracious hosts and their housekeeping team is equally warm, all in all i would recommend this place to everyone heading to Tarkarli as this place is only 10mins walk away from the beach.

Very nice resort situated at 0.5 km from beach. I have visited this place 2 years ago and had stayed here. Food quality is also nice and rooms are very beautiful and affordable.

The sea food was excellent. But the best art was the solkadhi... I don't know how but it was heavenly... It like it so smooth on the tongue... Ah never had anything like that even in malwan...

Haven't stayed here but their hospitality even with the guests who come to have meals is just awesome, we make sure we visit them everytime we are in Malvan, best Malvani food you will ever have!

My all time favourate for Malvani food. I visit Tarkarli for last morer than 15 years for two things, for quiet n clean beaches and most imp for Mi tu bavlat's food.

If it's to be fish in tarkarli it has to be Ghar mithbavkar. Homely taste home made masala and courteous staff. It has its own parking. Surmai thali is must recommend. Even vegetarians aren't disappointed here
