Akshay is a very helpful and wonderful host and tried to provide the best services in every possible way. Highly Recommended.All famous Ghats are at walking distance. Kashi Vishwanath Temple is at 5 minutes walking distance anf free wifi.

As someone who has visited Varanasi many times over the years looking for the best hotel, I'm annoyed I only found Alakhnanda now because this hotel is easily the best value in the area. I have stayed in all the other surrounding hotels like Alka and Ganpatti and I much prefer this place. The room was so beautiful, spacious and clean with the best view. The hotel manager Akhshay was an absolute legend and always willing to guide and help me during my stay. Do yourself a favour and book this hotel!

Good to stay nearby Ghat, as most of the activities are almost nearby ghat. I didn't tried food due to food restrictions. Its Very near to Varahi Temple. Once you reach Varanasi, its better to call hotel people. As due to traffic restrictions vehicles movement is restricted. Hotel management will help you reaching the hotel. They even picked my call at 1:30AM as I reached late night due to flight late, and they helped alot to reach hotel. Rooms are small, but manageable.

Wonderful stay at Alaknanda. Right next to famous Virahi Temple on the banks of Holy Ganga. Manager, Akshay remained helpful throughout our stay. He helped in every possible way to make our stay memorable. Arranged for all sightseeing tours, boat rides n airport transfer. U don’t need a guide when Akshay is there. Also, the other guy, Prashant was ever ready to get anything u required - Smiley 😊 boy. Last but not the least, Anna at cafe served delicious Dosas.

It was nice experience. the sunrise from Ganges was visible through the windows, a beautiful one. The staffs were polite and friendly. There is a dosa serving resturent in the building itself. Very near to the ghat as well as Kashi temple. Kashi temple is 7 min walkable distance. Overall a happy package.

Stayed here last week.Nice location with Ganges view room. Akshay ji is very nice person always guid us.

Just beside the holy river Ganga but not a crowded place.It is situated at Tripura bhairavi ghat, beside meer ghat and close to corridor steps. Always can see the river from the room and enjoy the calmness amidst the up and down of the boats and tides. 2 minutes from Dashashwamedh ghat and 5minutes walking distance from Shree Viswanath Jyotirlinga temple. But only problem is one has to walk from hotel till Godolia morre (junction)or Girja morre to get a ricksaw or auto/toto.Hospitality very good. Rooms are excellent with all modern facilities. Tea, coffee, south indian breakfast, veg lunch, dinner available in their own restaurant.

Very nice friendly and trustworthy staff. Restaurant serve very fresh indian food (veg and no eggs) even it needs a little bit time to prepare. Agains the mouses the owner was just changing the doors and stop the other holes through they could come. The room was clean and comfortabel. The staff aren´t annoying with offered, but if you have any need, you just need to ask.
Throught the location you are in middle of the holy hinduism life. I enjoy to sit in the restaurant or in front of and watching or got involved in the daily life at a ghat. Monkeys come to visit you at the window in your room....

I clean and cosy hotel / guest house right at the banks of the Ganges in Varanasi. The room has an attached bathroom with geyser. You have a cupboard, 2 bed side tables and corner table, 2 chairs and a flat screen t.v. The room is air conditioned. Check out time is 12noon. Manager Archit Mishra is a very helpful and curtious person and so is the next in command Amit.

again i expired a very good stay at Alakhnanda. In this city it is so important, that you can trust the workers at the guest house where you stay....., after got baggering at the street........ the view to the Ganga from the rooms are delicious, the offering-candles in the evening from the Main Ghat pass by....you can even hear the sound from the puja.........all this it is possible from sitting at the window in your room........

It is an excellent hotel in the banks of River Ganga,with variety of South and North Indian Dishes,Rooms are near and clean,the views from the room to Ganga is awsome experience ,
