Kailash is an amazing host.
We stayed at his place for 5 nights, and we ended up talking every day.
He gave us a lot of information about spirituality and hinduism.

The rooms are small but clean.

We are happy we chose to stay here. It was an authentic experience.

One of the best memories of our Indian trip thanks to the warm family who rules the guest house, a real Vanarassi family. And thanks to Manish, one of the nicest hearts we have met. Hope everything goes well for them because they deserve it.

Rooms are clean, Ganga view from your room and balcony, the hosts are polite and welcoming :) plus an opportunity to learn music.

Excellent location. Amazing view. Superb host. You can hear 2 things flowing there - Ganga and Music. The host family is full of talented musicians. You must meet Kailash ji who is an established tabla player and a great person. So, if you are into music or just want to enjoy it, it's definitely worth the stay. Also, you must try their delicious pizza.

This is an amazing guest house for travelers, in an amazing location, hosted by an amazing family. The location is right on the Ganga river, with 360 panoramic views from the rooftop, and a delicious restaurant with clean food cooked with love.
In addition, the host is a classical music expert and you can schedule lessons to learn tabla, flute, sitar from one of the best, known all over India for his work and teaching style. I highly recommend this place for backpackers, travelers, pilgrims, all kinds of people. Anyone who loves the REAL India should come here and bask in the magic!

Soul Cafe offers a really nice and relatively cheap place to have breakfast, lunch and dinner, with view over the Ganga river! The food is fresh and well prepared, they cook all the food with filtered water, which is nice to know as a European ;). The owner is a really friendly person with whom you can have nice conversations about life in India and he also knows a lot about Varanasi. Over all, great place!

great place to stay. kailashji is genuinely interested in ensuring that the visitor has a great time. you can also do a crash course in the tabla, an indian percussion instrument, as kailashiji is a seasoned tabla player. the place is located a stone's throw from assi ghat - a two minute walk and you are staring at the tranquil waters of the ganga in the early mornings. ask for rooms that have a balcony view of the ganga. kailashiji's wife cooks meals on request - tasty, homely and nourishing food.

very fair price in Varanasi to stay.. for family and friends clean and safe place The food and location was great, assi Ghat , temples , city are very near Ganges is right infront of you. Lots of plants and tress around.
The hosting family is very welcoming, if you are interested in music, you can learn a lot here.

_*More than just accomondation*_ The building right on ganges, best location in varanasi, very clean room, bathroom, balcony and all house, fully family friendly atmosphere, great value for money also the music school is there always u can listen the music, high quality of wifi, 24 hours electric backup, the daughter did laundary for me at reasonable price and also prepare fresh and nutrious indian food made by sushma the house owner, this is true family run hotel where if u want u can really get to know and honest and loving indian family, after very late train arriving in midnight family very fresh welcoming for us, we never forget this welcoming, kailash the owner he is an incredibly knowledgefull person about music, india, varanasi, tradition, religious, cultural, we had an instant connection and immediately began talking for hours and hours, i studied also tabla with him as my experience he is the tabla teacher and performer, i buy set of tabla from him, i have wonderfull memory of my time with kailash and his family in ganga guest house, much like india which operates from the heart, if u can rise up to that level and open to it (them) u will enjoy a life changing experience. I hope to see kailash and his family again soon. Thanku with all my heart to kailash and the family for looking after me and showing me what u did.

Kailash ji & his family are amazing. Rooms are super clean very friendly family. The views from the verandha are super awesome nice common sitout outside the rooms.

Soul Cafe- just minutes walk from Assi Ghat. Has an amazing view of Varanasi with outdoor dining.
Its an excellent restaurant that serves both Indian & continental food! The Palak Paneer is DELICIOUS!!

The owner of this stay is very humble and helpful. A good choice for budget travels. Stay there when u visit kaashi. This stay is very near to Kashi temple. I had a great time.

Great views of the ganges and varanasi rooms where small but clean. The best family,cook and hosts we have met in India. Will be missed but never forgotten.

If you are looking for cheap stay with a good location (near ganga ghat - ASSI GHAT), then this is a good place to stay. Kailash ji and family are very welcoming. You won't have any problem there.

I am recommending to eat outside for authentic Banarsi cuisine (Basically cheap) or you can eat in their restorant but eating there is pricey, offcourse good quality food.

Kailash ji is also a very good guide for touring in Varanasi. Feel free for his guidance for cheap touring like a local there like using sharing auto, etc.

Very good view of Ganga from balcony there..

This is an amazing place exactly a minute walk from Assi ghat... You will not get a better place at this price on this location. The ganga can be directly viewed from the rooms and it has a beautiful rooftop cafe. If you are not looking for luxury stay this place will offer everything else.

The host Mr. Kailash is an amazing person and a reputed musician. You will enjoy hearing him play tabla sometimes and his son playing flute.

Very nice place to stay, owners treats guests just like family. View is very beautiful since its on ganges river bank.

Good for the price, 1200 rp for small double bed room with a/c and nice bathroom. 600 rp for no a/c and shared bathroom. Quiet, good wifi, cozy terrace with river view.
