Blessed to visit the place. The atmosphere inside and outside is all amazing and full of energy. Huge amount of crowd so you need to plan late evening on working day and avoid weekends. Mobile etc you cannot carry inside and there is a place to deposit the same. Better to get some local connect to get a faster entry.

A spot where you can find calm in a pleasant setting. The artistic view of the temple is stunning. The temple is completely covered in a red-like texture, which is a sight to behold. It is incredibly large and has temples to different gods and goddesses. Each temple is built in a unique and artistic style. The view of the temple at night is breathtaking. The visit was very serene and blessed...
Try to visit temple as early as possible, we have visited at morning 5.30AM.
Also don’t go with Mobile phones, phones and cameras are restricted inside. But they have mobile phones lockers outside the temple.

There is no question about the beauty of the temple. It is a very old historical temple. The spiritual feeling we feel after entering the temple premises is amazing. Everything is fine only one problem in the temple premises some class of people have started doing business with God very strongly. I was very sad to see that.
Thank you 🙏

Very good temple in its original strong built up. Always crowded but needs to control more efficiently. Hardly could get a glimpse of Lord Jagannath. Arrangements are improving as corridore is under construction. As tourist better visit after studying important aspects and facts about temple.

Out of the world experience.
Everyone knows about the religious significance, the architecture deserves equal appreciation.
Visited during both daytime and evening.
For darshan, you will have to keep your phone, shoes and leather belongings at nearby shops at 20-30 rupees rate, as these things are not allowed inside.
Good place to visit!

🙌🙌🙌 Jai Jagannath 🙌🙌🙌

This temple is famous for Yearly Rath Yatra which starts from the Shri Jagannath temple to Shri Gundicha Temple.
This Yatra is around 2.5 kilometres.

This temple has idols of Balbhadra Balram, Subhadra and Lord Jagannath.
Many reasons for this temple are why it's famous worldwide.
There is no shadow of 'Garbh Grah' temple this temple has Kalinga Architecture.
As per many believer lord Krishna heart is here which still beats and for restoration of heart they change the structure in every 7 years to not to damage any kind to Lord Krishan heart.

This is also known as one of the four Religious Pilgrimage (Char dham) of Hindus.
This temple has four gates for entrance which are called
1. Singha dwar - East gate
2. Ashwa dwar - south gate
3. Vyaghra dwar - west gate
4. Hasti dwar - North gate

To enter inside the temple it'll take around 2 hours in the queue.
It may be take more than that if you are reaching there on the time of any holiday, vacation time, weekend or any big festivals.
Phone are not allowed in side the temple. Many Pujari inside the temples for other temples they are asked for the money to see the god closely.
That has to be maintained properly.
Don't buy the prasadam from inside they have a prasadam box for 100 to 200 rupees which u can buy in 50 rupees outside, sitting only to take money from the visitors.
Better to visit on weekdays and in the early morning.

Jai Jagannath!

My recent visit to the Jagannath Puri Temple left me in awe of the vibrant energy and architectural marvel that defines this sacred place. The temple, a splendid example of Kalinga architecture, showcases the unique style prevalent in the Odisha region. Standing tall with a majestic spire reaching 58 meters, the temple's grandeur is truly breathtaking. The expansive temple complex, spanning 10.7 acres and enclosed by a high wall, provides a serene environment for spiritual seekers.

The cultural and religious significance of the Jagannath Temple is well-known, and I found that many of the things I had heard about it were indeed true. The spiritual aura around the temple creates a unique atmosphere that adds to the overall experience of connecting with divinity.

While the temple management has done an exceptional job in maintaining the vibrancy of the place, I must mention that there is room for improvement in the darshan management. Although there are designated facilities for queuing, I observed some loopholes that allowed people to enter the queue at various points. Enhancing the darshan process could contribute to a smoother and more organized experience for the devotees.

On a positive note, the availability of Bhog Prasad is a delightful aspect of the visit. By paying the respective amount, visitors can partake in various kinds of Bhog offered to Bhagavan Shree Jagannath. This sacred offering adds a meaningful and personal touch to the spiritual journey, allowing devotees to connect more intimately with the divine.

It's important to note that, in line with traditional practices, mobile phones are not allowed inside the temple premises. To accommodate visitors, dedicated free counters are available for storing mobile phones and shoes. For those seeking a more private and convenient option, private counters are also available for a nominal fee. Additionally, visitors are required to adhere to the dress code, and entry in half pants or shorts is not permitted. These rules contribute to maintaining the sanctity and respect for the sacred space, ensuring a harmonious environment for all.

In conclusion, my visit to the Jagannath Puri Temple was a truly enriching experience. The architectural beauty, cultural richness, and spiritual energy of the temple are unparalleled. While there are some areas for improvement in darshan management, the overall positive atmosphere and the opportunity to partake in Bhog Prasad make it a destination worth visiting for anyone seeking a profound connection with divinity.

Jai Jagannath!

One of the best religious places to ever exist in this world. Though it was too crowded but the strength and will takes your courage to another level .
Shoes, mobile phones, and other unnecessary items are not allowed inside the temple, better to keep this thing inside your hotel premises, else you have to deposit all these things outside the temple.
It's too crowded from 11am to 3pm .
You can have a peaceful visit during evening and night time.
The police staff are very courteous they will help you anywhere you need.
VIP entry cost varies between 200-500 rupees.
Inside the mandir premises you will get one of the best bhoj, in your life , it's very tasty.
Costs 100 rupees, you will get dal chawal and sabji.
Rest, you can visit many more temples inside the premises.

Lively experience.
It is better to hire a pandit who can explain details of the temple and the reason for each activity.

Mobile and leather are not allowed, so a safe cloak room is available at every entrance.

Pls do shopping at street shop to promote local artists.

Don't know what I can review a temple and which is one of a dham of char dham. I will write my experience.
Contacted a panda and he asked me to reach Mandir by 5am, but I reached by 4.45am. There were 2 more families along with us. Very long queue was already there even before we reach there. Somehow he managed to make us get in at the last moment. He kept on telling us stories at every point while on our way and explained the importance of every murti. He kept all of us together despite the crowd. Finally when I saw Lord Jagannath, Balram and Subhadra, it made me feel light and felt like all my pain was gone. The joy inside is unexplainable. Anyways I booked bhog for my family and take away which he delivered to my hotel in the evening. Queue was very long and early morning you can complete the darshan in 1.5-2 hours, rest of the day very long queue.

Beautiful and mesmerizing experience. Must go and pls take a panda with you.

The corridor setup has made things easy for all people who come to the temple for worship. The only drawback system here is the priests are openly looting devotees in the name of religion.

The mandir itself is very beautiful very nice architecture. The premises are very big. Now they are putting some line barriers for crowd control. For a handicapped person, they provide while chair but now it's available up to the main gate. I heard maybe in the next two months they will create separate entries for chair access. At the time now they will give space for 500 people when they enter the temple then again people will come. In the main temple, the god statues are so adorable and beautiful. From left to right Balaram, suvadra and Jagannath. I found one panda in the main temple. He was so kind and generous. Very good behaviour. Explain all those very well. The panda is named BULU Panda. He was super. If anyone wants to contact him ask her name at the exit gate. But other pandas or outside pandas are very dangerous.

The pride of Puri, this is the must visit. The temple complex is quite large and the ongoing construction of the new Parikrama makes things a bit messy- good thing is that this activity is going to end soon.
We reached before sunrise (5:45am). While entry into the main temple was smooth, we faced a big crowd inside it. Took us about 1 hour for completing the darshan.
