Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Irinjalakuda

Apart from the value of the name, they always go forward to stand on “excelsior”. As all of us have nostalgia on schools, my mind always float into the memories had there. Me 2002 Xth passed out student. Even though I was not a class topper, the clause of education got from this school has helped me a lot to stand infront of all to stay steady in life. Kudos to all school mates ❤

This is none other than the revered alma mater of the town of Irinjalakuda, a veritable bastion of learning that has been under the patronage of the Salesian's of Don Bosco for many a year.

In times bygone, the luminous reputation of this school spread far and wide, attracting aspiring scholars from every nook and cranny of the state of Kerala. A veritable masterpiece of academic excellence, it stands as a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who seek to quench their thirst for knowledge.

With its cadre of illustrious teachers and venerable priests occupying key positions of leadership within its walls, this institution has always placed a premium on the quality of education it provides. And yet, it is not just within the realms of academia that this school has left its indelible mark - for its basketball team, in particular, has earned a storied reputation that is the envy of many.

In sum, this is an institution that has stood the test of time, a school that has nurtured generations of students with its commitment to excellence, and a place that will always hold a special place in my heart as my first alma mater.

One of the best schools in Kerala. Students get a lot of opportunities in studies, extra curricular activities, sports etc. The school hosts as the academy of Table Tennis, Basketball, Handball and Swimming.

School is very good but their girls washroom and changing room is really in bad condition. Not clean and no space.

Best teaching . Many extra activities such as swimming , yoga,dance,music,karate,music band,basketball,football,handball,badminton,table tennis,drawing ,
Painting,guides,ncc. Other facilities like library,park,labs,canteen etc

Everything is now memory...Can see good reviews here...wish DB good luck...but there were few Teachers like....Frenchiii.Biology..Sir..I still call him Sir....But When imagining .... rewinding the past..Imagine if your boy was in one of his classes.Hooked and lifted up...Walking on his knees in between the benches..Lucky him..there was no mobile phones ....neither FB...Oh good to see more big buildings....They used to Squeeze out so called donation to get admission in 5th Standard even after finishing 6years from LKG to 4th Standard... extras ..and extras...and extras...Please don’t pretend as if Donbosco Managment do charity out of it...they got Really good experienced teachers.But they are treated very badly and kicked out so that new recruits can be done with less pay and donation...Oh... are the still having those computer teachers teaching doss A$+B$=AB$...or still teaching how to make v design out of a’s....
