Wayal Wayanad Farm Resort

Our three-day stay at the Wayanad resort was absolutely unforgettable. The manager went above and beyond to organize a beautiful birthday celebration, complete with a delicious cake and even invited local kids to join in the festivities, making it a heartwarming experience. He also thoughtfully got us local snacks like palampuri. The resort itself was a paradise, offering luxurious accommodations and stunning surroundings. From nature walks to serene relaxation spots, every moment was magical. The warmth and hospitality of Mr. Chandran made our stay truly special, and we can't wait to return for another incredible experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable getaway in Wayanad.

I booked the whole property for 1 day for my Brother's marriage. The accommodation, service, the surroundings nd everything was excellent. Satisfied. Cheap and best, that's what I felt. Also, it's really a Wayal Resort because the resort is near a large paddy field (Wayal in Malayalam). Beautiful.

Must stay property............ best place to visit for refreshment. The place is bit remote so feel like away from crowd and peaceful. Great location & beautiful surrounding atmosphere .Great host (Chandran) The property is very aesthetically green and well-kept . If you are a nature lover you would love it.The caretaker of this property is so good and he was so helpful. Food is homemade and delicious. The room has all required amenties.

We stayed at this property for 4 nights with family and it was a wonderful experience. The location is superb, easy to reach, yet away from hustle-bustle of the city amidst the farm fields, at a very quiet and serene place. Property is well maintained, neat and clean and beautifully kept with all necessary facilities and has a rustic touch of Kerala culture.
The service was amazing, Mr. Chandran and Mr. Vijay were tremendously cooperative throughout our stay and made us feel like home. All the food arrangements were done at the homestay, so we can be relaxed on this front also. The delicious food prepared by the caretaker uncles was absolutely like home made hygienic food and was a plus point for this property.
Overall its was a great stay and thanks to Chandran uncle and Vijay uncle for all the hospitality and for treating us like family.

We visited Wayal Wayanad farm resort in September 2023, and it has been a truly amazing experience staying there. The manager Chandran is a true gentleman, a genuinely humble person and a great cook, who not only takes care of your stay but also ensures for every requirement of yours. Highly recommended place to stay in Wayanad.

Visited the Wayal Wayanad Farm resort again on March 2024. Excellent place to stay. Mr. Chandrattan is as usual the best host one can get and a great cook too. Visited places via Kuruva island, Soochipara falls which is near to this place. If you want a home away from home, this is the place to be.

staying at wayal always had the feel of staying at home. the staff are friendly and extended maximum cooperation to make the guest comfortable. will visit again.

One of the finest stays I experienced, and I am an ardent traveller. Do visit this place, stay here and experience Wayanad from this place.

I had been to Wayal Wayanad Farm resort with 11 other friends of mine. The caretaker Chandran is very friendly and very hospitable. He has a great sense of humour. He welcomed us very warmly. The location is perfect as it is away from all the town chaos. It is surrounded with beautiful vegetation - various kinds of flowers and trees. It gets even more beautiful at night with all the lights. Highly recommend this place to everyone if they visit Wayanad.

We were very late. Arrrived in Wayanad at 1:30 AM and it was raining. Couldn't drive further to Sultan Batheri where we had booked another place. Very exhausted driving all the day driving from Udupi, so we took a refuge in this beautiful homestay for 1 night.

The other more comfortable rooms very all booked. So the owner gave us a simple room informing us over the phone that the room was very basic.

We were given a large and clean room to accomodate 4 persons. The room had a large and a very clean bathroom. It was very comfortable. However, there were no other facilities and honestly, we didn't expect any, because it was too late in the night and we just wanted to rest as we couldn't drive further.

Next day morning, we woke up to find a very beautiful location around this place. The owner Mr. Chandran is a very nice, kind and friendly person to have accomodated us as late as 1:30 AM in a rainy night.

The location is excellent. Surrounded by rice fields, betal nut trees and in the horizon, one can find dense forest. The place gives a feeling of living in a remote beautiful village.

I've given 4 stars to this place because they accomodated us late in the night and the owner is really a nice gentleman.

I recently stayed at a wayal wayanad, and I must say that the host Mr Chandran was exceptional. His hospitality and attention to detail made the stay truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this host to anyone looking for a great Airbnb experience.

The resort has a great view and is very well maintained. The host Mr. Chandran was a huge help in making our stay great and memorable. Personal suggestion: eat in the resort itself, Mr. Chandran is a great cook too. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful and calm getaway from the city hustle bustle.

If you are travelling with family, especially old people or children, Wayal will be your home away from home. Mr. Chandran's warmth and hospitality makes you feel immensely comfortable. During my visit, my MIL fell sick and Mr. Chandran looked after her like a family member. It was a family reunion of sorts and he was flexible with all our requests like offering a few rooms for guests at the last moment to accommodating the entire family in the resort at a last minute request. Anybody who is only looking at it as business would have looked at such requests as logistic hassles. But not Wayal, Wayanad! Thanks a lot for an amazing stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Wayal Wayanad Farm Resort, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The owner of the resort, Mr. Murali was incredibly kind and welcoming, making sure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. Their staff were equally wonderful, providing excellent service and making us feel right at home.

The resort was truly a paradise, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views that left us in awe every day.
We spent our days exploring the beautiful forests, soaking up the warm sun, exploring the area and taking in the stunning views.
Evenings were spent relaxing on the porch, listening to the sounds of nature, and enjoying the delicious local cuisine.

We had strong mobile reception in the area and were pleasantly surprised by the reliable and speedy WiFi throughout the resort.

We can honestly say that our time at this resort was one of the best experiences of our lives. We are so grateful to the owner and staff for their warmth, hospitality, and dedication to creating an unforgettable experience for us. We cannot wait to return to this magical place and experience its beauty all over again.

Beautiful ambience. Calm!, quiet and serene environment!. Perfect place to get away and destress from your workload, pressure and hectic busy life. One can relax here merge with nature, breathing fresh air amidst lush green paddy fields.

This is the place where we wouldn't hesitate a minute to use the phrase "it felt like home", the stay, food and the surrounding were top notch. We have had asked the host to order the food for dinner as we would be late to the place, he did it and it was too delicious, the next day he prepared breakfast for us which was even great!!!
Coming to the highlight of the place was the hosting and the hospitality shown, CHANDRETTAN (the host) was one gem of a person..he was quite friendly and one hell of a host.
Now coming to the price point..pricing was very much affordable...and the place was neat and tidy...with all amenities required..!!!
Overall it was wonderful of an experience staying at this place!!! Most recommended!!!
