OYO 11681 Wayanad Blooms

One of the best holidays we ever had was at Wayanad Blooms a few years ago. The place, the weather & the sight seeing were excellent but best of all was the beautiful resort itself & the lovely owners & the staff who were at our service throughout our stay. They made us feel at home making sure that we enjoyed every minute of the holiday. The food at Wayanad Blooms was the best Kerala food. The resort is a perfect holiday retreat with cute, modern cottages with all amenities & the property had some lovely tree houses, hammocks etc. None of us wanted to leave the beautiful place at the end of our refreshing holiday at Wayanad Blooms.

The best resort I have ever been.. I was skeptical about it when I booked it online ... The reviews online interested me to this place . It is away from the hustle and bustle of the town with lush greenery and bamboo trees . Our family stayed there for 3 day . The hospitality was the thing that impressed us the most. The walk to our villa and the pool was wonderful ... Food was awesome with authentic taste to it .. Served to us with herbal pink water ...On the whole fell in love with the place. Definitely will visit this place again and again.

We had great experience staying at Bloom's Green Farm :) . The Resort has beautiful landscape. All the members in the family just loved this place. Mr. Mahesh and staff took good care of us :) Food was awesome tasty. All of us enjoyed the farm visit too :) We would love to visit this place again and again :)

We checked in at blooms green farm as a group of 57, as part of a college tour. Right from the arrival at the resort, until we left the resort next day, we had complete fun and happiness. The staff members were really helpful and kind. Excellent and tasty food. Homely experience. Huge and exciting organic farm. Like it a lot. :)

Stayed there for just a couple of days. The place is so neat and nice, it is very quite and peaceful there. Food was delicious too. The stuff is thoroughly nice and friendly. We also got acquainted with the local teacher who works here as a guide and he helped us to travel around - surrounding area offers quite a lot of hiking opportunities. He made our stay there very pleasant and for this we are very thankful.

My last visit to Blooms was in June this year. I was a regular visitor of Wayanad Blooms Resort since 2007 and from 2011 started picking their new facility ‘Blooms Green Farm’. Both have it’s own unique features. Let me recollect both the property features –
Wayanad Blooms Resort is on a river bank and opposite shore is lush green forest. My stay in the cottage @ 12feet above the ground on stilts was a wonderful experience. Access road to the resort was bit humpy bumpy, but the ambience, staff service, cleanliness and food taste were superb.
Green farm is full of life – lots of cows, goats, kennel, rabbits, poultry…… They produce most of the vegetables from the farm and they are pesticide free organically grown. Children love this place much better and I recommend this facility for family stay. They have a nice indoor court. The pond is very deep and they allow only expert swimmers to get in. Food is equally good as their other resort.
I recommend these properties to anyone ask me for an accommodation option in Wayanad.

It was a wonderful stay at Blooms. The cleanliness maintained in in rooms and in entire area is commendable. The villas are beautiful. Food was awesome. Staff were very much descent and helpful. Good time pass facility available like natural pond for swimming, TT, shuttle, carom, mesh hammocks. Thank you so much for supporting to make our stay beautiful and memorable.

This is the best place to stay for Nature lovers, families with pets and photography lovers!!!

We visited the place by April, certainly not the best time to visit, but this resort and hospitality of the staff made my trip!!! Seriously, these people are sensible and understanding in every way. They allow pets too.

After a long drive, we reached the place at a 3 hrs delay from lunch time, but the manager, Mr. Mahesh had the food kept waiting for us. Also, they did not insist on check-in procedures until we refreshed and had our lunch. We were provided a nice and spacious villa with two big balconies & wifi.

The resort is naturalistic, spacious, clean & well maintained. This is the best place for nature lovers looking for a serene time out with family. The food provided was good with decent variety and is worth its price. Not to mention, it is all cooked from their own produce grown with only natural fertilizers.

The farm tour within the resort is not to be missed as they have their own cocoa, cardamom & pepper plantations and various other fruits that are all grown in natural fertilizers. You can pick & eat the vegetation as you walk across and the staff actually welcome us doing that. Mr. Satish the caretaker of the farms explained things very well.

The sports center has an indoor shuttle badminton court, a carom-board, a TT- table ,a cricket bat & ball. The sport facilities are well maintained too.

Best thing is, they do not do it for money! The Staff would not accept any tips or gifts even if the managers are not around.

I will definitely recommend this place for a nice relaxing stay.

The location is awesome. The tree house where we stayed was really enjoyable. The main fact is how the staff rose to occasion when there were issues and solved them swiftly, unlike many other similar places. The program organised by Johny and team was excellent. There is a personal touch with every thing at Blooms. Johny, the owner takes care of you personally. He works with his team as a team member and that gives motivation for the staff to perform with zeal and enthusiasm. The organic farm is really great. For those in the busy concrete jungle, this will be a good escape. Children from the cities could be shown how organic farming can be done successfully by Johny, who is an Engineer by profession. We recommend you to spend time a Blooms when at Wayanad.

We were a group of 8 young oldies who had travelled from Tiruvalla and stayed at the farm for 3 days.
Our stay at the farm was enjoyable. The rooms were clean and convenient.The food also was very
tasty.What we enjoyed most was the service. The young men in charge were very helpful and made us
feel very comfortable and at home.Only there was no Wifi service in the villa we stayed. I am sure that
next time we come the service will be restored.Thank you ,Blooms for looking after us so well.

First time in Wayanad and had a very relaxed, fun filled experience. Best parts were the farm with variety animals (including Rani the Elephant) and amazing Kerala food. Recommended for families.

The sylvan beauty of nature and the pristine landscape of Blooms Green Farms have a very tranquilising and soothing effect. The diverse flora and fauna are a treat for nature-lovers. The hospitality and warmth with which we were greeted made our visit memorable and enjoyable.

We the 31 staffs had planned our annual tour to Wayanad – Kerala. We made our travel plans and booked our tickets by train to Kozhikode and from there by bus to the resort; our accommodation was booked at the BLOOMS RESORT - GREEN FARM from the 22nd August to 24th August 2014. We have no regrets in choosing Wayanad as the place for our tour as the climate was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blooms Resorts where we had very humble & courteous staff & the Manager Priya & the owner Mr.Johny are very co-operative and served us whatever we required, the food also very good. The ambience of all the villas was excellent and very comfortable & very clean. The Resort also has an Indoor Shuttle court, and mini GYM.
Though it is a raining place this resort had an indoor hall where we enjoyed our Gala dinner with good music system.
We also enjoyed our trekking to the Edakkal Caves and went to the BanasuraSagar Dam for boating where most of the gents took a ride in the speed boat and the ladies look a ride in the house boat.

If you have any plans to go to Waynad we would strongly recommend that you choose this resort for your stay. You will not regret it.

A very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere with lots of greenery. A very aesthetically set resort which almost lacks the looks of a resort, rather has a very homely atmosphere with a cuisine of delicious homely food prepared out of organic vegetables and served with utmost hospitality.

We stayed at Blooms Green farm during the last weekend. It was a 3D-2N stay. Here is my feedack,

Cottage:

- Cottage was very clean and well maintained. They are very spacious as well.
- Very nicely maintained lawn around the cottage.
- Ample car parking space is available along with the cottage.

Open Area:

- Greenery all around.
- Grown-up kids can roam around without any issues.

Sports Facility:

- Sports facility can be used at no extra cost.
- This facility is well maintained and stocked with supplies. Something that impressed us was the indoor badminton court with lighting facility. Rackets, shuttle corks, carom coins were readily available for use.

Food:

- We loved the Kerala style Non-Veg food which they served.
- Complimentary break-fast was nice as well, especially Puttu with kadala curry.
- Coffee was served at the cottage when ordered without any delay.

Organic farm:

- This is maintained around 20 acres of land, the farm guide took us around and patiently explained us about each and every plant/tree grown in the farm.
- They also have variety of dogs, goats, rabbits, hens and cows grown in the farm. We were allowed to pet the rabbits, cows and dogs under the supervision of the farm guide.

Staffs:

- All the staff are very courteous. Especially Arjun who was in charge of food and Satish who took us around the organic farm. The kids were comfortable interacting with the staff.

Overall it was a value for money outing for us. We will definitely stay at this place again if we visit wayanad.

Very neat and clean place with healthy food and affectionate people around. Sincerity and dedication of owners and employees, attempts to be with nature etc. make this place a classic place for relaxing and for activities like executing office job, story writing, deep thinking/ reflection etc. It is a world class facility. It can be recommended for all categories of people who want to spend quality time in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Safe and comfortable stay.

It's one of the best luxury resorts in Wayanad. I recommend this as one of the best resorts in Wayanad. This is a good place to stay in Wayanad. I think this better than Vythiri Resort because this is an eco friendly resort and affordable with quality. The staff here will surely be helpful to you.
I think you don't have to think further on where to stay after reading other reviews about this resorts.

We had really a great time in blooms. Hospitality was really remarkable. the villas were well maintained spic and span. We felt really homely with their hospitality. Even the kids can enjoy this place, with play area and the swimming pool. The team has responded to our needs with a very less turnover time. They have a great team of people with right attitude. I would to take this as an opportunity to thank every one who has made this stay a remarkable one for us. Last but not the least Mr. Babu and Mr. Mahesh hats off to them, you are doing a great job because working through out the day with right spirit and attitude always with a smile on face doesn't come so easily. If we are in wayanad again blooms will be the only option we would choose. We didn't check the wifi sorry hence I wouldn't be able to comment on it properly because we were staying away from gadgets :) . The food was really great and they have always chosen to have a right combination for e.g. : they have north-indian and south indian at night, breakfast will have a good combination such a way that a person from any part of india will be satisfied with a meal and lunch is kerala meals with good combination again.
