Kudajadri Drizzle - Best Wayanad Homestays

We stayed here for one day but it was not enough! The rooms, the location, the behaviour of the owner, everything was to die for! Our stay felt like a dream! The whole property was clean and so well decorated. The house was warm and cozy ! If you want to stay at a quiet and peaceful property in the middle of the nature with all modern amenities, then this is the place for you!

The hospitality felt homely and warm, the home itself is over 150 years old and is in immaculate condition. The homestay is run by the Dad and Son who were warm and welcoming hosts, offering all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

The home grounds are well kept and beautiful to explore. If you ask nicely they might show you around the main house where you can have an understanding of what a traditional home felt like 150 years ago.

It's a reasonable distance to the tourist destinations of Wayanad but situation closely to town.

I highly recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful experience at Kudajadri Drizzle Homestay.A very well maintained , beautiful homestay with traditional look.. Lot of open area surrounded by nature and birds whispering sounds. Great hospitality.. Best place for kids too. So many gaming materials are there to engage the kids. A hidden gem in wayanad that you can hangout from the busy life routines.

We had an wonderful stay in kudanjadri for 2 days. It was amazing in the midst of greenery. The way they received us was really good and so nice of them. The property was mind blowing. Very peaceful and clean. The rooms were very spacious, clean with excellent facilities. Overall it was the best stay and highly recommended.

The entire place nourished us the positivity. Full of greenery, warm hospitality. The rooms and location was excellent. 5 🌟 cleanliness. Homely food was excellent and yummy. Value for money . 24 hours service available.

This being a short trip with my family, we preferred home stay instead of resort. Kudajadri Drizzle being 120-year-old traditional ancestral home, was perfect. My family included my wife, mother, brother, sister and 2 children (1.5 years old). The room provided to us was premium category which accommodated my entire family. Room and bathroom are very spacious and hygienic. The atmosphere inside the property is very peaceful and close to nature. We will be happy to spend the time with our family after a tiring journey in this place. There is enough space for kids and adults to relax within the property. All the view points are 15-20kms from this place (You need to have your personal vehicle). The host Mr. Vinoop and his entire family is always there to support and guide with our requirements during the stay. Mr. Vinoop's father, Mr. Ganesh made sure that we were indeed a part of their family.

I would highly recommend you visit Kudajadri Drizzle Homestay with your family for a wonderful experience.

PS: The food offered by Mr. Surendran is very tasty and homely. The options are limited, and you need to order the food in advance (At least 3 hours before). In case you are not preferring homely food, there are hotels in the range of 5 kms from where you can buy.

We a family of 5 stayed at Kudajadri Drizzle for 3 days from 14-16th June, 2023 and the stay was pleasant and exciting. The host Mr. Vinod took good care of our needs and his family members showed love and affection to us. My wife’s birthday was celebrated on the evening of 16th June with excellent arrangements of our choice of tasty cake and candles at a very short notice.
A good property with heritage features to take us back the memories to centuries back. Overall, a memorable and enjoyable stay to cherish our memories for ever.

We enjoyed our stay in this Homestay. The place has lot of greenery around, as it is amidst an estate. The owners are very warm and hospitable. The property is in traditional Kerala architecture and the rooms are big with modern facilities. The property is maintained well. Food is not served but can be ordered, however coffee and tea is served on request. We enjoyed very tasty vegetarian food from the contact given by the owner.

Kudajadri Drizzle is a very nice Homestay. If you are coming to wayanad this should be your accommodation option. Its situated near Kalpetta and all the tourist places in the Wayanad district are accessible. The heritage and culture of Kerala is maintained in this homestay, the hosts are very nice, friendly and very interactive. The vibe at the homestay is very pleasant, calm, peace and very close to the nature. They have facilities for basic morning and evening tea/coffee. For pure vegetarian only food you can inform them and they will give you the contact.
We stayed for 3 nights at the homestay and our stay was very comfortable and pleasant.

Had a wonderful stay with a Kid and being on a workation i had always been worried, but felt at ease there staying for a week entire family is very dear, great location and peaceful surroundings.

We stayed in Kudajadri for 2 days. Right from when reached, there was a feeling of peace and calm and homeliness. We were welcomed by the host and shown around the property. He also gave us a map of Wayanad which was very helpful to plan our sightseeing. The property is very serene, with trees, a hammock, views of the paddy field and a very beautiful ancestral home. Veyr spacious rooms with all amenities. The homemade food delivery by Mr. Surendran was also superb. The property has an open kitchen cum dining room which was very helpful for us with a 5 yr old child. The homestay is located at the center of Wayanad making it easy access to all the tourist sights. We were sent off with a lot of love and heartwarming conversations, and we look forward to coming back to our 'wayanad home' at Kudajadri again ❤

We had a great stay at Kudajadri, we are around 20 people stayed there. The rooms are neatly maintained and they treated us like their own family. Definitely i would suggest this place anyone travels to Wayanad. Vinoop and his family maintaining this property and we stayed peacefully and had great time with family. We had a nice vegetarian food from Surendran, which is the another point to add and that makes our stay a comfortable one... Thank you Vinoop and Surendran..

A memorable stay . Excellent service and high class hospitality. Hosts are very friendly treated us like family members. Rooms are clean . You can get homely food and food from nearby hotels also available as home delivery . Location is very good and children friendly.

The best place for your vacation, situated in a typical Kerala Village surrounded with paddy fields , plantain trees,streams yet the town is only 2 km distance , no hustle and bustle of the city . Always guarantee the best temperature of the season .

Kerala Traditional house settings give you a nostalgic feeling and the family is excellent the way they taking care the guests as well as the surroundings . Well maintained garden gives you the aroma of different flowers and can get variety of fruits from the same , Always hear the sounds birds and squirrel

The hosts were so friendly and they made us more comfortable there with good services. The food was very delicious. If you are looking for a traditional yet comfortable stay at moderate rate, just visit this place, you would love here. Its worth the money.
