Louise Mount Hospital

I'm so delighted to share my experience as an intern at Louise mount hospital, for one month. Compared to other hospitals, the patients are being treated in a more relaxed way. As an intern, I got more exposure in different ways such as conducting assessments, attending classes with case examples and encouraging patients to do different activities. I express my sincere gratitude to Linjo Sir, the Clinical Psychologist and Anwin Sir, the Consultant Psychologist, for giving us the best guidance and different opportunities to use our skills in working upon different things. I also thank Jinesh Sir, the Social Worker who gave us guidance and support.

As an intern, it was a great experience at Louise Mount Hospital. The staff was cooperative and the interactions with the patients were also friendly and respectful As an intern, there was good exposure, which included conducting assessments, observing various therapy sessions among others. I consider myself lucky to be trained under the guidance of Linjo sir, the Clinical Psychologist and Anwin sir, the Consultant Psychologist, who were understanding and approachable. The social worker, Jinesh sir also gave us good guidance on how to interact better with patients.

I am immensely grateful to the Psychologist Anwin Soye and Clinical Psychologist Dr.Linjo C.J at Louise Mount Hospital for providing me with an extraordinary two months of learning and growth. Their guidance and insights have not only enriched my understanding of people's emotions but have also ignited a profound sense of fulfillment in my journey in psychology. The contagious fun and enthusiasm they brought to the learning environment fueled my desire to achieve more in this career. The staff at the hospital were not only extremely helpful but also friendly, creating a supportive atmosphere for an intern in psychology. I am genuinely thankful for this amazing first internship experience, and I eagerly look forward to applying the profound knowledge and skills gained as I continue to pursue psychology further in life.

I have done my 4th sem internship of my Msc Psychology here. It was a wonderful experience to me. I got opportunity to learn more things from here, I'm really grateful to conduct orientation class to the tribal community through this Institute, and that was my 1st great experience as a public speaker. Also I have learned and observed therapy sessions so that it helped me to get a practical exposure, & learned to do different assessments. Also I have got an opportunity to deal with children cases, adult cases like psychotic ,personality and geriatric cases. Also dealt with the patient under alcohol and substance induced. Especially Anwin sir and Dr. Linjo Sir I'm so grateful towards your
contributions as my supervisors. I really enjoyed my whole one month internship by gaining more knowledge related to actually clinical platform here. ♥

I had been there for a month internship in December 2023. Apart from the beauty of Wayanad, the hospital was an arena of experience and learning for me. Clinical Psychologist Dr Linjo was a treasure of knowledge wrapped with a sense of humor tied with thread of simplicity and care to everyone. Psychologist Anwin sir was very resourceful and very good to interns untill and unless you messed with the rules. If you are searching for an internship, Louis Mount will be a different experience where you learn a lot in psychology.

Its have been a great experience over here. Learned a lot of our course.1 month has gone fast. Their classes are really worth.they also gives chance to interact with patients. As a social work trainee it was a great opportunity for me

I have done my MSW psychiatric posting at Louise mount hospital, Wayanad as an intern for 30 days. My experience at the hospital was extremely good. They give good care and attention to the patients. They provide good service to the patients through highly qualified psychiatrists, councillors and social workers. I have learned more about various psychiatric disorders. They also provide a lot of information and knowledge to the interns also. The training which provides here is so effective.. I am extremely happy to be part of the hospital as an intern. I had done my 3rd semester psychiatric field work in louise mount hospital, Chennalode (Wayanad district). The hospital provided a great support for the interns to accomplish their objectives. Especially a very big thanks to Sr. blessy and Mr. jineesh they are the social worker's of the hospital.They were giving a magnificent supervision and they took several case presentations, classes for the trainees and also providing that needed facilities, platform's had allocated to the trainees for conducting games and activities for patients. More over, an opportunity to interacted with the inmates and understood which kind of disorders were affected.The treatments and care of patients is highly authentic and appreciable.Overall got a great exposure as a trainee social worker from the hospital.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the incredible experience I had during my Psychology internship at Louise Mount Hospital in Wayanad. It was truly a home away from home for me, with its serene beauty and welcoming atmosphere. The lessons i learned and the memories I made will be cherished for a lifetime.

I have done my 25 days internship at Louise mound hospital ,it was very good experience for me. All the staffs were very supportive, especially our guides Sr Blessy Sebastian and Mr Jinesh Varghese.
