The picturesque scenery exudes serenity , calm and a hightened sense of well-being. For those who care for adventures, plenty of opportunities like exploration of caves, trekking on hills, boating in lakes, Zip lining, jaunt across glass bridge, all within a radius of around 20km. To top it all, varied cuisines that could delight any gourmet and warm hospitality.

We had a wonderful experience at Aambal Villa. Rooms were very clean, comfortable, and the staff was wonderful. Food was delicious. The owner was very friendly and consistently made sure we were comfortable. Aambal is definitely a good vacation choice.

Aambal villa is the ideal place for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The villa is nestled in the middle of a coffee plantation with sweeping views of the nearby valley and mountains. The rooms and common areas are well appointed and spotlessly clean. The food is outstanding and Param the gracious host has a keen eye on every detail to make your stay memorable. One can spend the days sightseeing at one of the nearby attractions, ziplining over coffee plantations or simply lazing around at the villa. Cannot wait for a repeat visit!

The homestay has well appointed rooms and a very good owner. He is very hospitable and takes care of the comforts and needs of the residents. You get a stunning look from the property. On the whole we enjoyed every minute of our stay in Aambal villa

Aambal Villa is a spectacular 5 room villa nestled in a coffee estate in the hills just a few kilometers from the town of Sulthan Bathery in Wayanad, Kerala. It has gorgeous views of the valley below.

The design of the villa is inspired by Geoffrey Bawa’s work so it is beautiful all around. Several of the sights in Wayanad such as the Edakal Caves are a reasonable drive away, which means it is also well located.

All the rooms are extremely well appointed with tasteful, comfortable furnishings, unique views and modern fittings. The toiletries were excellent as well. These made the rooms more reminiscent of a star hotel than a homestay.

The property has 2 dining rooms (indoor and covered outdoor), a lovely living room, a pool and several areas where one can relax. One hardly feels like leaving the place to go sight-seeing!

The Villa is run by Param and Padmini, a delightful couple who are old friends of ours. The care we received was over the top. We could not have asked for a more personalized experience and I am sure they extend this exceptional hospitality to all of their guests.

The food was amazing. We opted for mostly Kerala food but the chef is capable of making other cuisines as well. Param took a personal interest in providing a varied menu that was appreciated by both the vegetarians and non-vegetarians in our group. To name a few, the duck curry and nool parothas were delectable.

The staff are helpful and courteous and took care of all our needs with aplomb.

Overall an amazing experience that we will remember for a long time to come.

Aambal was amazing. A definite place to spend time with your family. Will be visiting again for sure. The food provided is homely and amazing. Credits to Byju the chef, and the caretakers too who are all super nice. Ofcourse Param is just a call away for anything. You wouldn’t need to go out for food if you need to choose.

Rooms are super neat and well kept. The location is easily accessible and you can drive to the property. There is space to park more than one vehicle if need be. Again, the food is just amazing.

Next time I would visit to just spend time at the property and not roam outside. Situated in the middle of coffee plantation a calm and relaxing abode. Definitively a no brainer choice when visiting with family.

The host, Mr Param was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The place itself is a haven of peace and tranquility, nestled amidst a lush coffee estate overlooking green mountains. Not a single vehicle or building was seen from the room views thankfully. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. If you're looking for a place that offers exceptional food, genuine hospitality, a stunning environment, and top-notch service, Aambal Villa is the perfect choice. The pictures on Google cannot do justice to the actual shine of this gem!

Param's hospitality is as mind-blowing as the place itself. We were a big group of friends and this villa, situated in the middle of a gorgeous coffee estate, was our happy place for three days! Everything from room sizes, common areas done up aesthetically, wonderful staff to the delicious meals! I CAN NOT recommend the food and the coffee enough- everything is made at home, cooked from scratch and is delectable. We refused to step out or eat anywhere else. Super affordable and an excellent experience.

I had an incredible stay at Aambal. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, the staff was welcoming and attentive, and the on-site dining was a culinary delight. The facilities, including the pool were top-notch. This place is a hidden gem, and I can't wait to return for another memorable experience.

We just had an amazing weekend at this delightful villa. Our host Mr. Param was a gentleman who catered to all our needs. The staff was very amicable and respectful. Credits to Byju who made a bonfire for us despite the constant drizzle. If anyone is looking for a luxurious get away on a budget, this is the place to be. Hands down. Don’t even think about it. Just be there and enjoy the stunning view and the delicious homemade food. 1000% would recommend.

The stay was above our expectations. The team made our stay exceptionally special. We will come back again for sure. Highly recommend for anyone who want to have that experience of relaxation.

The place, the ambience and the vibe is amazing. The place has its own peace and calmness.

Perched atop a hill within a coffee estate, surrounded by green, Aambalvilla has the most wonderful views. The morning mist curls in, almost magically clearing to expose the valleys on either side. The quiet is undisturbed except by nature calls of native birds and insects. We enjoyed our 3-day stay over Diwali while our hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable. The food was fantastic and the resort spotless, kept so by the three man team of Byju, Mohan and Charan. Thank you for an unforgettable getaway!

We just had a 3 night stay here along with the family . Lovely locale, a fabulous property with spacious rooms, absolutely wonderful hospitality and service and to top it all, great food. Looking forward to be back again.

Amazing getaway place. We had a beautiful stay there. We have to go here when you just want to stay at home doing nothing with no disturbance. Food was finger licking good. Thanks to Param and Padmini for all the hospitality. There are few beautiful places around.

Had a great experience throughout the stay - so much that we extended our stay by another night. The owner Param is very warm and accommodating. The view around is serene and lush green. Due to the altitude we had the experience of some amazing foggy mornings and some beautiful rains!
The chef and staff are well trained and the food is homely and quite flavourful! The property is clean and well maintained at all times of the day & night. Would easily recommend!

We stayed for 2 days at this wonderful property in the midst of nature. The breathtaking views from this property was a feast to our eyes and mesmerized us with nature.
Param (owner of this property) has put his heart in developing this beautiful property and has ensured that every small aspects are taken care for comfortness of guests. The food was amazing, the local cuisine made to our requirements will be cherished for a long time, special thanks to the Cook – Byju. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is very will kept and clean. The rooms are spacious with stunning views from the balcony. We stumbled upon this place by chance and it turned out to be one of the best villa/homestay experience i've ever had.The host was very warm and welcoming coupled with eager to please staff and terrific cook. Aambal is located inside 10 acres of rubber and coffee plantation with 360 degree view of lush tropical forest,plantation and hills. Aambal has amazing decor , great sitouts amidst nature and a small pool alongwith board games and books on varied topics. Apart from the view food was another highlight, we enjoyed amazing authentic Kerala cuisine. I would say,it's perhaps the best place in Wayanad and I'd love to go back for sure.
